Another photo with friend -- Hugh's in ABQ ( Albuquerque) with the Wolverine 3 filming now. His hair seems to be growing now. I still wonder why he had it shorn close to the scalp when earlier photos showed him with a wig in New Orleans? Jo He still has the wig on in the FaceTime view

It looks like a different one from what he seemed to have worn for the New Orleans filming. But you're probably right. The film has got quite a few Wolverine and XMen fans stumped. If it is Old Man Logan, why is he not wearing the close-cropped hair of Logan 50 years hence? I thought that once filming came to ABQ/NM the OldManLogan storyline would kick in, which would call for the practically shorn head... If it is Weapon X, he shouldn't have grey in his hair. If it is Death of Wolverine, did he have grey in his hair when it happened ( the circumstances leading to his death, which logically-speaking should come after Old Man Logan)? If it is X-23, I have no idea what that is all about and besides why make it a story of the female clawed mutant when this is supposed to be the farewell movie of Wolverine. I also have no idea what timeline the Reavers came into Wolverine's sagas -- so I have no idea of when that might have occurred. And why has the hairstyle deviated too much from the iconic Wolverine hairdo? Maybe they were trying to save on the cost of a lot of hairspray Serves me right - LOL - for trying to guess all about the movie, when Fox is trying very hard to place a cloak of utmost secrecy around this final Wolverine solo movie Jo

Back to the Jackman family -- is Hugh still in ABQ for the weekend? Wolverine 3 is supposed to wrap by August 19 so they might be working full blast and even on overtime now? It is only 7 1/2 months to go before Opening Date of the movie ( March 3, 2017).

July 2008 ??
Has he completed filming XMEN ORIGINS : WOLVERINE then...and he was on a long break in Australia. Towards the end of the year, they were re-locating to New York, if I recall right?

Remember the photos in Tribeca the other weekend ? Two possibilities -- *they have a joint advocacy that they are pursuing? *Hugh is in talks for a movie with Brad Pitt's production company ( PLAN B Entertainment)? Or maybe a third -- *They ran into each other while enjoying Japanese food at NOBU ? Hey, I thought Hugh is not supposed to do any movies with Brad Pitt's spouse Maybe this could be a project with Brad himself ? Just kidding Jo

Is Hugh among them...in New Mexico? I could hear a familiar-sounding vocal expression at the very beginning and at the very end Is he the one in a long-sleeved white shirt?

It's almost like a private joke when we giggle because we have seen this scene before on a Broadway stage Except the trout seemed to have multiplied to three Jo

He's been filming for almost 3 1/2 months non-stop. And he does look very tired in this photo. Could be that there are many difficult action scenes for the R-rated Wolverine movie? WOLVERINE 3 is an R-rated movie and we can expect a lot of physicality involved as this film may be aiming for strong realism with its action scenes. There is also the possibility that they may be cramming all the filming now because the film is due out in less than 7 months -- could involve long filming days or even overnight shoots! He needs a good rest after the film wraps! Before he moves on to GREATEST SHOWMAN, which could also be physically exhausting ( sing, dance, and act) Jo

He's back to his morning routine. Or was this taken on the same day that the sunrise Instagram shot was featured? http://instagram.com/p/BI8bXRij9jI That last frame when the deer licks his hand -- that is priceless!!

Everyone finds this Instagram clip adorable -- he has been called a real Wolverine, Dr. Doolittle, the Deer Whisperer, and even Snow White But this envious tweet is also very amusing -- Hugh really does wonder with the variety and selection of his social media messages and images Jo

Most of the people speculating on the Daily Mail feedback section are basically clueless on Hugh's current activities, unless they very regularly monitor his tweets and Instagram posts or promotional events for his movies. We do keep tabs on Hugh's activities which are known to the public, including interviews, public events, clips, and his social media posts, etc... We have also seen him without makeup when he arrives at the theatre when he has a run on Broadway and knows how he looks like. We know that he will turn 48 soon and that the aging factor was one of the likely reasons why he is saying goodbye to Wolverine... We also do know about the crow's feet I think he may just be very, very tired after a long shoot. It could have been an overnight shoot and he may have decided to share the breakfast menu (of grilled fish) with us - maybe he has not slept yet when the photo was taken, direct from the shoot? They are wrapping very soon ( maybe this week or next week?) and it is likely that they are cramming some of the filming? This is no different from when he shot the last scheduled filming scenes for Les Miserables, where he and Eddie Redmayne filmed the sewers scene on that last day - they completed filming in the wee hours of the morning...and after that, he immediately jumped on a plane bound for NYC for an Aussie film festival which he was hosting at Bryant Park. As it is, there is already some concern from fanboys re the very tight schedule for post-production of WOLVERINE 3. They worry that a superhero movie's post-production schedule could be completed within 6 months or so ( especially if there is a fair amount of CGIs and special effects needed) and some even have dire predictions of a possible rescheduling of the release date. Unless some post production work has already started at the same time or even before the filming schedule? So James Mangold and Hugh (who is also a producer for the movie) may be doing their best to make sure that their schedules are met comfortably. Re any discernible weight loss ( but that is arguable when you see his more recent gym photos), it could also be that in this movie, if part of the theme is Old Man Logan, it could be that he not only sports grey hair and facial beard but that he may not choose to show any shirtless scenes ( and therefore there is no need to bulk up too much). Hugh is usually on the leaner side, if not in Wolverine mode, and in EDDIE THE EAGLE, his character of Bronson Peary, was not remarkably in a Wolverine physique mode. Another possibility -- he may also be preparing himself for his role of P.T. Barnum --which may require new dancing routines. Could he be practicing in his trailer and in so doing he may have opted to lose weight for more dancing mobility (assuming he does not need the full build up for the older Wolverine role). All of these are of course just my personal speculations One final note -- if he were really ill, would he want to publicize that complete with pictures? He would likely be seeking medical help and a rest period to recover. Unless it was something like the vocal hemorrhage he suffered during his concert series in Istanbul and he had to apologize for those cancellations to the audience. Hope he gets lots of rest after filming wraps! Jo
