Probably true. But HughJackman has been athletic(school athlete &still a sportsman now)since he was young.Started training to maintain a good body shape even before he became a serious actor.Last Instagram post showed him playing table tennis. Other sports- swimming &skiing, etc.

What about Ryan? I did see him in a clip doing some training ( can't locate it at the moment).

But he is involved in another form of sports - motorsports!

Is he training to be a racer?

Nah, his recent investment is to buy into the F-1 ALPINE racing team.

Receiving the Order of British Columbia is the honour of a lifetime. I could have been born anywhere but I had the dumb and incredible luck to be made in Vancouver. **Contrary to my earlier belief, the award is NOT a political appointment.** It’s merely symbolic and holds no real power.

To that end, I may have made some promises to several folks working at Minerva’s restaurant in Kerrisdale - as well as Tyler who works in the produce section at Safeway on 4th and Vine. Grouse Mountain will never be a giant slip ‘n slide. Mountains don’t work that way. I shouldn’t have mentioned it much less commissioned detailed CAD drawings. Nor can I make the Vancouver Art Gallery my personal residence. That’s another overreach. Apologies to the gallery staff for any misunderstanding this morning. It isn’t “happy hour somewhere”. You have a job to do and I was out of line. ❤️🇨🇦❤️

Thank you, @lgjanetaustin and @davidebybc and everybody on the OBC selection committee. Also, huge thanks to my three older brothers, Patrick, Terry and Jeff as well as my mom, Tammy… we’re always there for each other. No matter what. Love you.

On a side note -- on the same page above, someone recounted a Hugh-related story.

Dspot: Funny story Hugh. Over a decade ago I was working for Geek Squad with Bestbuy and had an install in North Van to install a couple surround speakers. So whatever, get the speakers installed, of all the movies to test the sound to pull I pulled an Xmen movie. I put it on and the little girl was pointing at the screen saying “uncle. Uncle”. I was like “haha that’s funny little girl” and her mother was like “no it’s true that’s her uncle I’m Hugh Jackmans sister” 😂 then proceeded to pull@out the wedding photos lol. Such a funny random story in my life I’ll never forget 🤙🏼 your sister was a saint btw. Also congrats @vancityreynolds 🔥

It seems that the Dukes Bar martini is usually identified with gin...

but they did have a special recipe, using vodka, which was made famous in the James Bond novels.

It is called the Vesper Martini, named after one of Bond's girl friends ("Casino Royale"). It was also a favorite of James Bond author Ian Fleming who frequented the Dukes Bar then.

Deadpool 3 should not disappoint.

I can't wait to see Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds on screen as these characters together.

It should be another great balance of humour and action!

It will be late fall into winter filming for the rest of the production schedule?

Any outdoor filming will be better for Hugh now because the sun will not be shining as directly as it did in summer.
