The Hugh Jackman Collectors Edition is back -- now availeble at same price. It has retained its #1 ranking on the Best Sellers List while the Reynolds one has dropped to # 3. The 4K/BluRay combo is now # 4.

Many anticipated this movie with different interests in mind. Some wanted the next story of the Merc With the Mouth. Some expected a salute to the former superheroes of a different time & place. Some simply wanted to relive anecdotes of previous adventures from the fabled mutants. I viewed the movie as a continuation of the retelling of the adventures of the most beloved of all the XMen, that of the clawed Mutant, the Wolverine. And this movie succeeds! Veering away from the time & place of LOGAN, this anchor being of another universe comes with a past that left him with a heart broken & no sense of his future. This story is the depiction of the rise from the ashes and a return "to what he does best - even if it is not always very nice" in order to rescue his dying universe! Hugh Jackman fulfills his destined role of resurrecting that part of the multiverse - - and we are very elated to see him come back!!

Re the Collectors Edition released today/yesterday --- a lot of complaints that people cannot find a copy. Some stores have only ONE copy. Amazon said it can only deliver by November. Both Jackman & Reynolds editions SOLD OUT and there is no supply in the forseeable future.

*I have received notice that my copy has shipped and that I will get it by October 31. I ordered on the day it was announced...and found out eventually that it sold out fast. They tried to replenish the supply but once announced, it sold out again. It seems Disney miscalculated the demand for this edition. And despite the other options were priced downwards vs the pre-order price -- the price of $ 65.99 for this Collector's Edition remained the same. My account has been charged for that amount. The Edition that sold out fast was the Jackman one. It took sometime before the Reynolds edition sold out.

My understanding is that there will be further bonus features in the Collectors Edition.

Most of the complaints about not being able to find a copy came from male fans!

I tested a re-order but they will no longer deliver to my country ( and presumably other countries than USA?) -- due to shortage of supplies?

I guess some will show up on eBay? But at what price?

The Collectors Edition is cheaper at Walmart.



However, someone on X reported that they could not find any stock in the stores. Maybe what is available is on Online Walmart?

My WOLVERINE Steelbook Collector's Edition has arrived! I was a little worried that it might get pilfered on the way to me. It is still unavailable on Amazon. It is being sold on eBay at a much higher price... and it is NOT available here at all! In the past when Amazon used the mail -- I had lost a few items especially during the holiday season. It is a good thing they do have special courier services now.

Now, I will just have to figure out how to download the digital copy!

There is word that the projected release of Deadpool & Wolverine on DISNEY+ (STREAMING) -- on NOVEMBER 1 will not happen.

No new date has been projected.

First, let’s get one thing straight: Deadpool vs. Wolverine isn’t here to make us ponder deep life questions. No, it’s here to deliver a relentless mix of claws, sass, and broken fourth walls. You’ve got Deadpool—everyone’s favorite merc with a mouth, armed with an endless supply of bad jokes and worse decisions—taking on Wolverine, the grumpiest guy in the X-Men, who basically growls his way through every scene and somehow makes that work as a charm offensive.

What’s incredible here is how Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman turn every moment into a clinic in comedic timing, sarcasm, and pure mutant mayhem. One’s indestructible, the other’s nearly indestructible, and both have personalities that are basically allergic to teamwork. And yet, watching them try to outdo each other in both violence and wit? CHEF’S KISS!
