The Academy is reportedly considering having more than one host in the Oscars 2025.

They reached out to stars such as Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, The Rock, Will Ferrell, Cynthia Erivo, and Ariana Grande.

Get the performers to act as ONE group with a Master Host? Maybe a basic trio of senior hosts? Hugh Jackman who comes from both branches of the performing arts(w/ proven skills & appeal in hosting awards shows) be the Master Host.2/3

Let Ryan Reynolds represent Action & Comedy & let Cynthia Erivo be Drama & Musicals. If Poehler/Johnson/Ferrell/Grande agree -they can be performers for production numbers for each genre, w/ either Reynolds or Erivo leading each number &Jackman the Baton wielder & master performer.

Give them a budget to get their own writers& composers.
FILM'S mission is to show us the VARIETY OF LIFE. Let the production numbers performed by the hosts together,not individually, introduce the nominees as they celebrate variety in their drama, comedy or musical acts?

Hugh Jackman is decent in this but Ryan Reynolds does absolutely nothing impressive here, and neither of them come even close to delivering something worthy of an Oscar lol, especially with films like Dune 2, Furiosa, the Substance, and Monkey man this year

What is an award-winning portrayal? Why equate it always w/uber-dramatic,tear-inducing, emotionally strong performance? Or plain mimickry? Acting is portraying a character- in a fighting mood,a comedic stance,a dramatic persona.HughJackman is an excellent actor in whatever genre!

If he has made a character impressive&credible& if he is a key actor in the storyline,I cannot see why actors who portray action(no matter the setting)& combines it with realistic acting in other non-fight circumstances should be ignored. Why give Oscars only to "gladiators"?

How many actors can act in drama/action/darkcomedy/musicals/romcom/sci-fi/biopics? Who can perform for both film AND stage? Very rare!

It is beginning to look like that the award for Best Supporting Actor will be the most exciting competition for the honor.

*Disney has already indicated that Hugh Jackman will be campaigned for his Wolverine role in Deadpool & Wolverine

*After the screening of Gladiator 2 - a lot of Oscar noise for Denzel Washington's villain role ( supporting role)

*Austin Butler will also be campaigned for his supporting role in Dune 2.

It looks like there was an initial conversations with the trio when they were on their media tour for D&W (see Hugh with splint on his little finger)...
