A long standing friend of Hugh and Deb supported Deb on the Step and Repeat. Nigel Barker has a background as a photographer so it makes sense he’d be at such an event.

Lol - Nigel is an old friend of Hugh Jackman ( since their days at Dogpound) and is married with 2 kids. They used to double-date. Nigel, a fashion photographer as well, probably provided Deb a helping hand at the women's day event?

Dogpound, a gym was founded in 2014, and included Hugh & Nigel as original members. It was actually named after Dali who was always around.

Every morning (except for Sundays), at 5:45 a.m. sharp, the DogPound meets at an elite West Village gym. A year ago, Hugh Jackman assembled this group of 14 guys—who include NYSE president Tom Farley, former America’s Next Top Model judge Nigel Barker, and two Olympic-medal winners—from among the dads at his kids’ school. The name is an homage to Dali, Jackman’s French bulldog, who presides over all workouts.

“It’s a bromance for sure,” says lead trainer Kirk Myers, who, together with trainers nicknamed Menace, Monster, and Chief Smashing Officer, works out alongside Jackman and friends. The whole crew have been known to spend an entire day together and exchange more than a dozen emails daily. The hour-long themed circuit starts with a double espresso shot and often involves tasks such as flinging giant hammers and lifting 100-pound dumbbells. At some point every morning, the Rocky theme song is played. “It’s very loud. Everyone is screaming, constantly,” says Barker. “We all feel like little Wolverines in the making.”

Riding high on the surprise success of “The Greatest Showman,” Hugh Jackman was still celebrating on a double date Wednesday.

The star was at Scarpetta in the James New York NoMad hotel to meet wife Deborra-lee Furness, “America’s Next Top Model” photographer Nigel Barker and his model wife, Cristen.

“Champagne was flowing,” said a spy. Unsurprisingly, “Hugh was looking very dapper.”

World Entertainment News Network reports that Jackman is collaborating with adult-contemporary singer Richard Marx for the project. Marx told WENN, "I love working with [Jackman]. The only problem is that between his Broadway show schedule and my schedule, we're just having a hard time finding time to get in the studio.” Jackman's song selections thus far include "Beyond the Sea," "Smile," "And I Love Her" and "That Old Black Magic." The recording should hit stores in spring 2005.

Hugh Jackman is currently portraying the late Peter Allen in The Boy From Oz at the Imperial Theatre. He received an Olivier Award nomination for his work in the London revival of Oklahoma! and an MO Award for his performance as Joe Gillis in the Australian production of Sunset Boulevard. Jackman's film credits include "The X-Men," "Someone Like You," "Swordfish," "Kate and Leopold" (Golden Globe nomination) and "Van Helsing." For the second consecutive year, Jackman hosted the annual Tony Awards ceremony at Radio City Music Hall. Though he can be heard on cast recordings of Oz, Oklahoma! and Beauty and the Beast the jazz CD would mark Jackman's first solo recording.
