I actually never pictured Keller as clean shaven. If I recall correctly he drives a pickup, he's a hunter, kind of macho with his son so I picture him with a gun rack in his pickup and probably a member of the NRA. He's a family man, but a very macho, blue collar sort. That was my interpretation when I first read it. I'll be reading it again one of these days. Anyway, I like the goatee look for this guy. Sue

www.jaunted.com/story/2013/1/14/14175/3218/travel/The+Celeb+Who+Took+His+Golden+Globe+as+a+Carry-on-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hugh Jackman didn't have much time to celebrate his big win for Les Miserables at the Golden Globes last night. While the night's other big winners, including Ben Affleck, Lena Dunham, and Jennifer Lawrence, headed upstairs to party hop at the Beverly Hilton, Hugh Jackman had to catch a flight to Atlanta right after the ceremony. Hugh told E! news, "I have to fly and start work tomorrow morning on a film. Was that bad timing, or what? The movie is called Prisoners and I play a father whose daughter is abducted so I have to look like hell, so it will be fine. I get there at six in the morning and go straight to work." The early morning call time also means Hugh won't have much time to fight the flu. During his acceptance speech admitted to the crowd, "I was kicking myself for not getting a flu shot but appears you don't need one. I feel great." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

He also mentioned he was supposed to be looking like hell, so he said it would work out fine.

This will be a very interesting shooting since he will probably attend at least three more awards ceremonies before the shooting ends - one of them on a different continent

I don't know where SAG ceremonies are held ( maybe LA?) and he is not just a presenter but a nominee as well. SAG ceremonies will be on Sunday, January 27, 2013.

www.rockdalecitizen.com/news/2013/jan/16/hugh-jackman-film-in-production-in-rockdale/------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hugh Jackman film in production in Rockdale By Alice Queen (825) alice.queen@rockdalecitizen.com Wednesday, January 16, 2013 © Copyright 2013 Rockdale Citizen . Workers were busy in Stanton Woods subdivision Tuesday preparing for production of the feature film "Prisoners," starring Hugh Jackman. Several houses in the neighborhood will be used in the movie. Filming is expected to continue in Rockdale County through the end of February. -- Staff Photo: Sue Ann Kuhn-Smith #CONYERS -- The Stanton Woods subdivision has been transformed into a movie set for filming of the Alcon Entertainment and Warner Bros. feature film "Prisoners," starring Hugh Jackman, Jake Gyllenhaal, Melissa Leo and Paul Dano. #Gina Hartsell, executive assistant for the Conyers-Rockdale Economic Development Council, said filming in the south Rockdale neighborhood is concentrated in several homes there. #"A good bit of the film itself takes place in the subdivision and in the characters' houses," she said. #Filmmakers have a satellite production office in the neighborhood, she said, as well as a headquarters in Stone Mountain where they are filming in the downtown area. Other film locations in Rockdale are in the process of being finalized, Hartsell added. #Hartsell said the film has already had a positive economic impact on the community. #"They've actually been here for several months now doing the pre-production phase," she said. "They have spent a considerable amount of money in the restaurants, flea markets and thrift stores," as well as stores like Home Depot, Lowe's and Cowan Ace Hardware, she said. "They have been quietly going about their way here." #She said production crews have also spent months working on relationships with property owners where filming will take place. #"Prisoners" tells the story of a small-town carpenter, played by Jackman, who kidnaps the person he suspects is behind the disappearance of his young daughter and her best friend. Jackman recently won a Golden Globe for his performance as Jean Valjean in "Les Miserables," and is completing work on the upcoming movie "The Wolverine." #A casting call for extras for the film was held in December at Rockdale Career Academy. Filming is expected to continue in Rockdale through the end of February. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If I have time this weekend, I will scope it out. It is 33 miles from my house, but an hour's drive even in good traffic.

I hope the weather there is nice. I'm about 2 hours north from there and we've gone through a whole range of weather in just 2 weeks - 70 degrees to 30, rain for days on end, heavy snow, sunshine. I want this movie to go smoothly because I desperately want to see it. Does anyone know if they've given an estimated time of release? This fall maybe? (Or is that too early?)

I think a September release was mentioned somewhere. I think it is supposed to be a short shoot ( maybe 2 to 2 1/2 months?). Maybe they want to show it first during the film festival season in early to late fall? www.imdb.com/title/tt1392214/releaseinfoJo

Thank you birchie and jo! I couldn't remember if I'd read fall or if I was just hoping! A film festival opening would be a great thing. Has Hugh had any movies open at one except for X3 at Cannes?

I'm really looking forward to this movie. I'm happy to see that Hugh is doing more dramas! I'm a big fan of them.

The Loki character must be different than in the original script, because Jake is sporting a (hopefully) fake neck tattoo in one of the pictures from Pop Sugar. I'd post it here, but the site won't let me save them.
