Hugh confirmed to go to San Diego for ComicCon on July 20. www.aceshowbiz.com/news/view/00062170.htmlThere was some speculation at Bleeding Cool site that there might be an announcement re a much wider franchise called " X-Force" ? Jo

Respected film commentator Drew McWeeney ( who used to be "Moriarty" at AICN) writes about his impressions re Hugh and the Wolverine role -- www.hitfix.com/motion-captured/hugh-jackman-talks-about-playing-the-character-for-the-sixth-time-in-the-wolverineIt seems that Drew must have already seen a screening, given his comments ( of which he can only express broad hints due to the temporary embargo), which sounds very well for the movie! This makes it even more exciting to me - I am now hyped that the movie is indeed going to be the surprise hit of the summer Jo

Longish feature from the UK Daily Mail -- much of which we have already committed to our memory cells, BUT, there are quite a gems www.dailymail.co.uk/home/event/article-2360413/Hugh-Jackman-When-I-mother-saw-school-When-I-got-home-gone.html?ito=feeds-newsxml>>>Later he played Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady – though he was scarcely out of short trousers and Rex Harrison was 56 when he defined the role in the 1964 movie. Now 44, Jackman is ready to play Higgins once more. ‘Someone came to me about playing the part recently. The one problem you have is that there is something pretty creepy about Henry Higgins. I mean, a 44-year-old bachelor grooming a young woman? Weird, very weird. Mind you, I would still love to play him.’<<< Aha - this must be one of the "interesting offers" ...I wonder if this is for a movie remake or a stage revival?? Re Man of La Mancha -- now I can proudly share with him the love for the musical. I saw the very first original staging, with Richard Kiley and it struck me so hard with the story and the performances! I saw it again with B Stokes Mitchell ( excellent voice but not as impressive acting as Kiley) in its Broadway revival. I still have the CD which I play occasionally. I wonder if Hugh ever sang THE IMPOSSIBLE DREAM, although I would love to hear him sing DULCINEA, too. Man of La Mancha is one of my top favorites! Jo

The media person/film site critic who couldn't share his exact review of the screening because of the embargo found an indirect way to substantiate his feeling of excitement on why he thinks THE WOLVERINE could be the "best superhero movie in years" -- www.gotham-news.com/news/2013/07/12/the-wolverine-director-cast

Hugh is criss-crossing the planet for THE WOLVERINE publicity -- this photo was supposed to have been taken in South Korea, where he is now on a publicity stop.

Another one of the "beautiful people" in the movie, Svetlana Khodchenkova playing Viper, in this funeral scene -- I wonder why she missed the Mandarin Hotel/NYC press conference? Hope she is able to join some parts of the press junket/premieres. Jo

Boo-hoo -- I can't get to view it. My computer crashed and it has been reformatted but I seem to have occasional issues with FlashPlayer Can someone re-upload it -- maybe I can view it that way? I have been waiting for this interview since the sneak peek. Thanks in advance! Jo

I wonder if he was not joined by American-Korean actor Will Yun Lee (who plays the Silver Samurai) for this press appearance. I remember that he was joined by another Korean actor Daniel Henney when he promoted ORIGINS. Btw, Les Miserables was a big hit in South Korea! Jo

Lauren Sanchez tweeted that she flew red-eye with hubby ( Patrick Whitesell, Hugh's longtime agent) for the London premiere of THE WOLVERINE ( which is scheduled for July 16) laurensanchez.com/red-eye-w-hubby-to-london-for-the-premier-of-wolverine-w-hughjackman/I wonder if there are also talks that PW might want to do with London-based producers for possible Jackman projects ( like My Fair Lady )?? He could have very well just attended the Hollywood premiere of THE WOLVERINE ( I think that one is due on July 22 or so?) Jo
