On Hugh's Twitter feed he has a short message "from one Logan to another" about beating leukemia. Can't figure out how to post here, sorry. Why does the father say "strange coincidence" to James Mangold? Because his son is named Logan and finished his chemo as Hugh is finished with Logan/Wolverine? *confused*

It's the mother who has posted the original tweet about her little boy ( he was born on March 3, 2011) named Logan ( named after Wolverine, as disclosed in a further tweet) but who will soon have the final successful treatment for his leukemia. James Mangold sent an initial tweet for little Logan...and passed on the message to Hugh ( who sent out his own message from one Logan to another). The major coincidences are the boy's name and his birthday occurring on March 3 ( release date of LOGAN). Also it is quite a coincidence that his final treatment will be at about the same time as the release of HJ's final WOLVERINE movie! The mother and grandmother also sent messages of thanks on Twitter and Hugh's Facebook Page.

It was all the hype and post-rejoicing over LOGAN! Have you also noted the number of hits when he posts a LOGAN-related image! His ADR image has crossed over 3 million and a related tweet has also garnered way more than a million views! Not only that -- his puppy dog look in the car has generated so many pictorial parodies on social media Also, while the followers on Twitter are below Instagram numbers, I am very elated and even touched by the kind of twitter messages that are sent to Hugh and the LOGAN cast and creatives. They are still coming, even on its third weekend at the cinemas! And I can't keep track of tweets that say they were emotionally touched ( aka tears falling) by the movie and the characterizations. Everyone thinks LOGAN was the perfect sendoff for HUGH JACKMAN as Logan, as Wolverine! Jo |
