I was reading a local op/ed article ( about political circuses - yes, it also happens in our side of the world) when the columnist whose forte is mass communications quoted a popular Frank Sinatra song called PAPER MOON. Here's the part which he quoted -- It's a Barnum and Bailey world Just as phony as it can be But it wouldn't be make believe If you believed in meLOL - I am dying to see this movie Jo

It was Zac's birthday on October 18 -- but it seems it was an ordinary working day for him earlier http://instagram.com/p/BLuBg4egUn4 Hey, who is that man with some facial hair and a black t-shirt ( which looks like a Global Citizen leftover shirt) sitting in the back, left hand side, working hard Or are my eyes playing tricks on me Jo

That looks like a huge rehearsal hall -- note the full wall-to-wall mirrors at the background. Hey, is this how they'll sing in SHOWMAN Jo

Just a hunch -- could the main roles really be that of Barnum and "Philip"?
Wasn't Zac the first one to be in serious talks about a role in the film project (reported in February 2015) ? And I also remember that it was Aaron Tveit who was in the first workshop ( presumably for that role?) at the time of THE RIVER...and didn't Hugh also ask for Taron's singing video when the screen test with Taron happened for EDDIE THE EAGLE, also at the time of THE RIVER?
And -- could his role be modelled ( in a fictional way) to that of the other main character of BARNUM AND BAILEY?

Hey, they're both ringmasters here -- Or are they reviving memories of THE MUSICAL IS BACK from the 2009 Oscars Seriously, maybe the above is less to do with the circus performance itself but about these two characters ( and others) doing a spectacular dance number from the musical ?? Jo

Ah , I hadn't remembered that Zac's character is supposed to assume ringmaster duties. Thanks, Jo. Ellen

If you look at that quickly, doesn't Zac look like a young Hugh? Nancy

Actually posted on October 7 -- Has the movie title been changed to THE GREATEST SHOWMAN ? Or was it just for purposes of printing stuff at the rehearsal/filming studio? I actually think the shorter name is more catchy, simpler, and more contemporary-sounding Btw, IMDB has been using the shorter title for sometime now -- www.imdb.com/title/tt1485796/Jo

Hey, they're both ringmasters here -- Jo It looks like Zac has also been using the shortened title THE GREATEST SHOWMAN ( or was just for convenience? ). Jo

Some incredible amount of luck in casting and getting the creative team -- *Pasek and Paul -- as described above : "The American Musical's new MVPs"*Zendaya -- will be coming off her success for the lead role in SPIDERMAN Homecoming, showing off her acting chops *Rebecca Ferguson -- has multiple projects coming before and after "Greatest Showman" ( with lead stars Reynolds/Gyllenhaal, Cruise, Fassbender) *Michelle Williams -- buzz for another Oscar nod for Supporting Actress for "Manchester By The Sea" and is in talks for the Janis Joplin biopic. *Zac Efron -- returning to his musical roots! *Hugh Jackman -- from Logan to Showman Jo

That looks like Hugh ( wearing a Global Citizen T-shirt) ...and seated next to him looks like Keala?
