Our cast are multi-tasking Hugh seems to be regrowing his facial hair again -- for SHOWMAN ( doubtful, unless they change Barnum's actual period look)...or something to do with LOGAN? Jo

Yeah, multi-tasking indeed extends to the creatives Pasek and Paul are writing the score for the LIVE-ACTION remake of Disney's SNOW WHITE! www.cinemablend.com/news/1580030/disney-is-making-a-live-action-snow-white-get-the-detailsCan't wait to hear the songs from GREATEST SHOWMAN! We have had a taste of them with THIS IS ME, which is a song meant for the so-called circus freaks! This must be the most stressful time for Pasek and Paul -- Dear Evan Hansen will start Broadway previews in two weeks time while the studio recording for the musical score for Greatest Showman is now underway! LOL - when I saw the photo uploaded by Hugh of the recording of demo tracks for the project more than two and a half years ago, I had no idea who these new composers for the project were. It was Ellen who gave us some insights on the work they had already done. They are now the busiest songwriting team in the entertainment world! Will their work in SHOWMAN get some award recognition? Hope so! Jo

I hope so, too. They're very talented. DOGFIGHT, A CHRISTMAS STORY and DEAR EVAN HANSEN have some of the most listenable songs created for musical theater in the past several years. Their JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH stage musical is, I believe, still being tweaked and possibly groomed for B'way some day.

If you haven't squinted through the article shown on an image yet ... here's the EW article about the new MVPs of musicals And this article was written before Pasek and Paul were announced to pen the songs for the live action remake of SNOW WHITE! www.ew.com/article/2016/11/02/dear-evan-hansen-pasek-paul

http://instagram.com/p/BMcXNqzDt7l This must have happened when Keala was still with the cast of WAITRESS. Or has she returned to WAITRESS for an indefinite time? Maybe she invited Hugh and Zac to watch the show. No mention if there was special reason for being there. No mention( yet) that the real link was Keala...as there has been no official announcement of the casting of Keala as The Bearded Lady in GREATEST SHOWMAN EARTH JO

Judging from his expression while singing, SHOWMAN sounds like a happy musical

I read that she re-took the role for one day when the usual performer(s) were unavailable.
Also of note: The photo credit misspells the name of Bruce Glikas, who must have been contacted about Keala's one-day return to the role. Oh, those typos.

Makeup-testing for the role?
Her broad hints of a top hat, a film camera, and a circus tent are spot on!

It's Hugh Jackman's height which makes his well-proportioned build very physically impressive! Hugh is 6'2.5" Zac is 5'8"

uk.movies.yahoo.com/zendaya-responds-spider-man-casting-controversy-mary-jane-140000772.htmlThat is how a big movie musical should be! Like putting on a big Broadway production! The difference is that THE GREATEST SHOWMAN also has a major dramatic content ( hence the need for a topnotch screenwriter, like Oscar winner Michael Arndt collaborating with Bill Condon and Jenny Bicks). It is almost like Les Miserables, another dramatic musical, whose book is essentially the adaptation of Victor Hugo's monumental literary work about social justice. But THE GREATEST SHOWMAN also involves major spectacle, including the third talent, dancing! Her romantic interest in the movie is Philip, Barnum's protégé and ringmaster, played by Zac Efron. Jo
