Someone who seems to be a film buff posted it, but I am not sure that it is a legit publicity material from the movie. Maybe he just wanted to put together his concept of the film?

Hollywood can't get enough of Peter Pan. There are currently five projects inspired by The Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up and his adventures, and no amount of "happy thoughts" are going to make all these ideas fly. Because, guys, things are getting kooky in Hollywood's version of Neverland. Don't believe us? We're not going to lie — we're cautiously quite optimistic about this project. Directed by Joe Wright, Pan is essentially an origin story for The Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up, and it's boasting a seriously awesome cast. Hugh Jackman's been getting some press for his Blackbeard facial prep, but we're also stoked to see Garrett Hedlund, Amanda Seyfried, Rooney Mara, Nonso Anozie, and Cara Delevingne join the Neverland ranks. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters next summer.

Why do we need this many movies about Tinker Bell and her Pixie Hollow pals? Why is the "B" capitalized in NeverBeast? These are questions we may never have answers for, but it's for the kids. Let the kids have this one.

Take a good, long look at this promotional image from NBC's upcoming Peter Pan musical. Do you like what you see? If so, awesome! This might be right up your alley. On the other hand, if you're a little put off by Allison Williams' fishnets and leather bracelets (not to mention whatever's going on with Christopher Walken's Captain Hook), this may all be very, very worrisome. But, hey, it can't be worse than last year's musical Sound of Music, right? Peter Pan Live! will air on NBC on December 4, 2014.

The less we say about this the better, mostly because we already ranted about this at some length earlier this month. Basically, NBC has made a script commitment to turn J.M. Barrie's classic tale into a workplace sitcom — a workplace romantic comedy sitcom, to be exact. The Wendy character falls in love with the Peter character, but gasp! Peter doesn't want to grow up and form meaningful romantic relationships! What's a sitcom heroine to do? (Move on, maybe? Of course not.)

And then things get weird. Fox now has a script commitment for League of Pan, which catches up with Pan's Lost Boys fifteen years after they left Neverland and grew up. Now in modern-day Los Angeles, the men discover a serial killer is after them, slowly but surely offing them one at a time. Logline notes (optimistically) describe the show as "grounded and edgy", a "soapy thriller." Huh. So kind of like an R-rated Once Upon a Time? Except that it's on Fox so it can't be R-rated... So basically a slightly darker Once Upon a Time? In "edgy" Los Angeles!

There was another report which said that PAN would be part of another Warner Bros trilogy! I do not know how true this story is. But then again, WB was the studio that brought us the most successful franchise in movie history, the Harry Potter series! We'll see!

Will Blackbeard still be in the story? Maybe he has grown his hair as part of a disguise - LOL! That depends on what happens to him in PAN

Love the "real" pirate look!

Especially the one with the earring-- hey, is this a new fashion look( no rock star or avant garde fashionista ever sport it?)

Will we see a teaser/trailer soon? Hmmm...maybe at the same time we see Chris Walken's Hook on the NBC musical?? No comparison--I'm afraid Chris looks his age(maybe his dancing will belie it )...Hugh's Blackbeard looks evil and charismatic...and hot!

The pc I was able to borrow does not have sound-- and I do not know how to activate it--- but the trailer is exciting.

All the characters are appealing--did you glimpse Amanda...and even Cara Delavigne(sp?), in addition to the main cast?

Have you read the script--it looks like the actual film adaptation is going to be quite faithful to the script, except the film Blackbeard is handsomer

What with the ghostly make-up, shaved head, eyeliner, earrings, and strange clothes? lol. He's an evil pirate. He should look weird. Adds to his ability to transform himself for characters. Have you seen The Fountain? He looked weird in parts of that too, and I loved it.

We are lucky to be Jackman fans! This PAN character/look and the character of The Man in The River! Hugh is giving us such a variety in the roles he portrays -- not just looks-wise but also the kind of acting he is involved in!

Mr.Versatility himself-- the legend is growing

Did you recognize Amanda Seyfried-- she portrays the mother of Peter!

It looks like they have decided to keep the movie title of "PAN".

Hugh's name is above the title...and Amanda is listed in the main cast.

Hey, 3 million hits on Youtube in 36 hours

We were able to tell Hugh at the CITS barricade when he arrived that the trailer had already received 2 million hits on YT! He said " Yesss!!" excitedly!

Someone on the feedback section of YouTube talked of a leaked version on the internet. He/she said that there was one long scene ( 40-47th minute) which made him cry. He also said that it seemed like the best movie that has been made recently...Of course this could not really be confirmed but word of mouth may help it along!

Not overly worried about ANTMAN -- maybe I am not able to find indications if they have released any official teaser trailer --but what I have seen do not indicate widespread popularity

PAN is expected to be a family-friendly movie and the popularity of Peter Pan stories has been proven. The NBC December special might even increase interest in PAN. Hopefully, Finding Neverland (set to open in the spring on Broadway) produced by Harvey Weinstein, will increase further awareness of the Peter Pan legend! PAN is also going to be released in IMAX and real 3D - I am hoping the visuals will be very spectacular! If you have read the script, it made it to the Black List (best-produced scripts rated by producers and other Hollywood mover and shakers) of that year.

Maleficent, a family-friendly movie actually beat XMEN:Days of Future Past in the domestic market boxoffice.

It looks like the interest is being sustained-- 5 million hits on the Warner Bros YouTube site and another million on various uploads ( 750,000 on MovieClips).

IMDB has also become pretty busy.

But I am amused at the many comments that center on the following from YT, IMDB and Movie Clips--

*Why does Hugh look weird, but it seems he might steal the movie.

*The perennial controversy of why Rooney Mara was cast instead of a Native American.

*Why is Hook called Hook when he has not lost his hand yet?

*Where is Amanda and why are Hedlund and Mara ahead of her in billing?

*Where is Tinkerbell?

*Blackbeard is supposed to be a real person (Jo's Note: There is a pirate/privateer known as Blackbeard and his name was Edward Teach) , so, why are they fictionalizing his story?

*This is just a remake of Peter Pan.

*Why are they rebooting the Disney movie?

*Etc.
