This came from the film / entertainment critic for FOX 5 -- so it is probably an official reaction. Maybe we can start off the thread for reviews and even social media responses from film critics, news critics, filmsite bloggers, and other entertainment reporters. Btw, many of the links for many of the following tweets are courtesy of the posters from the SHH Forum. Thanks, guys Probably a little biased ( given who tweeted it) - but who cares Jo

twitter.com/devincfDevin Faraci wrote that beautiful love letter to THE FOUNTAIN, but he hates the XMEN movies and Bryan Singer. It is said that he is also a Marvel Studios apologist. It seems he was not invited to the press screening of Days of Future Past. I can't also make out what Kris Tapley is trying to say in some of the exchanges.

Only 29 reviews have been submitted to ROTTEN TOMATOES. It seems many of the reviews are awaiting the lifting of the general embargo ( when the movie finally opens) but at the moment, the movie is basking in all its excellent superhero hype -- www.rottentomatoes.com/m/x_men_days_of_future_past/93%, with 27 Fresh and 2 Rotten smiley-happy036 Many of course expect this rather high rating to go down as another 200 or so ratings come in -- but it looks like it will be certified FRESH fairly soon, given the current trend. From THE ECONOMIST www.economist.com/blogs/prospero/2014/05/new-film-x-men-days-future-pastI thought this review from such a publication as THE ECONOMIST ( which is a very well-respected publication on international business and world affairs information) is insightful on the success of this film. I hope Hugh gets to see this review, as he is supposed to be a reader of THE ECONOMIST, according to that recent cover story from The Hollywood Reporter Jo

I thought this review was particularly interesting --
I have read quite a few reviews -- there seems to be a consensus that Hugh acquits himself particularly well, better than the much-ballyhooed First Class cast. Someone even called this a Wolverine movie - LOL. I think when you have had the chance to see the movie, it will be much clearer why he seems to "steal" the movie once again ( Quicksilver was good for only a few scenes !).

This is the ASSOCIATED PRESS review, which will usually be carried around the USA and worldwide...and will likely be read on mass media press.
