Some fans think ( or hope ) that this is Old Man Logan, Prof Xavier, and young X-23 !

Much speculation on message boards and film sites as to whether the young girl with Hugh is a young X-23! I do remember the casting call for children in her age and height range.

Posted on May 30 == Did he fool us But I have been wondering why in the latter set photos why his hairline above his forehead seems to have a very defined widow's peak. He has a bit of it, but not as sharp as in recent set photos -- Could he have been wearing a wig that was closely modelled after his own hair ?? Unless his longer hair was dipping down his forehead? If this is so -- I wonder why he went this route? Why not shoot with his regular hair...and then shoot with cropped hair ( Old Man Logan-like) later? Unless they shot the OLdManLogan scenes early, for whatever reason. Is truly a puzzlement

Is this his way of telling XMen fans that the movie will be inspired or loosely adapted from OLD MAN LOGAN ? It is a very broad hint -- without his telling the fans directly what everyone wants to know. Maybe their marketing people are asking the people involved to keep mum about the whole project. Jo

Note the blood on their knuckles -- *R-rated scenes *Confirms that the young girl will likely be X-23?

Someone needs to look up the true visual definition of a widows peak. none of these picture, real buzz cut or set wig meets the criteria .

Someone has written that the project is "tracking very well". He must be referring to the media (main and social) buzz (almost of frenzy proportion) -- and a lot of wondering minds -- that is now following what the project's main storyline is all about and what characters are going to share the screen with Wolverine. The title has been the source of a lot of speculation, too. Weapon X, Old Man Logan, The Death of Wolverine The only official source has been Kinberg saying that " it happens in the future...it will be different...rad...with a western tone...rated R". But I have wondered how some official-looking and fairly clear photos of what is happening on the set have come out. Presumably, set filming ( unless it was completely outside and open to view) is well-guarded. Someone snapped not one or two but a series of very clear photos. Was this actually an allowed leak? To whet fanboy and Jackman fangirl appetites? If as one film media source is true, the first official confirmation might happen at the San Diego Comic Con, Hall E ( sometime in July), if Fox decides to present its upcoming slate there! Presumably by that time, Hugh and the whole project might already be in nearby New Mexico ? One XMen fanboy on the Apocalypse board asked a few days ago : "Shouldn't we already be moving to the Wolverine 3/Untitled Wolverine sequel Board ??" LOL! Come to think of it -- the movie is only 8 3/4 months away from its March 3 release date ... more or less Jo

Interesting that another film site looks at another angle -- www.joblo.com/movie-news/20th-century-fox-scoops-up-domain-names-for-possible-wolverine-3-titles-171He missed the broad hint in the gym photo of Hugh (posted by Hugh, as he himself wanted to give us a hint of the forthcoming film) -- the hair is now close-cropped! He is looking more like Old Man Logan now, without all the grey in the hair He also missed on the possibility of a young X-23 being introduced in the movie. Just a look at the knuckles of Wolverine and the knuckles of the young girl, with both showing traces of blood will have given him another insight. Some of the comments pointed out the young girl character to him. Jo

Let me relate the above excerpts to these notes from a screenwriting site called SCRIPTSHADOW, run by Carson Reeves -- *I am hoping, given what the above article from Latino Review suggests as what they see as the possible plot development of WOLVERINE 3 -- that it will be more contemplative, more of a character study, that follows the template suggested by Scriptshadow for a more interesting storyline. *The main complaint with THE WOLVERINE, which was generally well-received, was the third act which became a protracted CGI-infested action series of sequences. As Scriptshadow suggests, a reduction in the action component may work better. *Apocalypse unfortunately has not been well-received ( Rotten Tomatoes at 48%) and box office results are below expectations by a significant amount. Many of the complaints relate to the excessive disaster theme and that hardly any character development was allowed to flourish for many of the characters. Food for thought! Jo

It looks like there might have been more women than men in this Lousiana gym today. Hugh is very accommodating
