That seems more like a gossipy, Page-Six (rival paper) item. Very rare to see Hugh characterized as an ego-driven "jerk" out for publicity. He's not exactly a Kardashian posing nude in body paint on a beach. (Now there's an idea...). Ellen

A fairly long video of members of Dogpound doing their various lifting stuff -- vimeo.com/127549719You can see Hugh all over the place -- on the left, reflection on the mirror, doing his lifting routines, drinking his protein stuff, applauding others. Btw, he is the guy whose shirt is emblazoned with THE SMASHER on the back It seems they have already moved to a different gym. Jo

Anyone familiar with the children's book, ALEXANDER AND THE TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, ROTTEN, VERY BAD DAY? In the story, every time something bad happens to Alexander on his very bad day, he says, "I think I'll go to Australia". He sees it as a place far away from his problems. Hugh is enjoying his time in his home country. Like "Alexander", when he needs a break, he says...."I think we'll go to Australia."
The first time I read the book to my students, I couldn't stop laughing. It's very cute.

Cute analogy, Kathy Btw, a name has been chosen Kinda similar with DOGPOUND -- only sounds more rugged, like Australia Jo

I think they should have picked a more indigenous name--like Kookaburras or Koalas. Ellen

Wasn't Hugh one of the first to make that mistake Didn't he say how he initially studied the wolf's movements (Inside the Actors Studio)? One of the priceless performances towards the end of the run of TBFO was during Bicoastal. Hugh couldn't locate the voice of the man who gave him a shout-out. Hugh, changed in manner from Peter to Wolverine, right before our eyes. Up went the beneath-the-brow ferocious stare, the knit brows, the hunched shoulders, the left-to-right head movement -- looking for his prey. He found him alright The man turned out to be a hunk -- so Wolverine changed back to Peter right away - LOL! Jo

If memory serves, in an "animal work" class, the drama students each chose to enact a different animal, and HJ thought the meerkat was so unusual that the teacher would not be able to tell how good/bad his portrayal was. Later, when he was getting set to play Wolverine, he studied wolf movements, mistakenly believing that he would be playing a "wolf" of sorts. At the time he thought the wolverine was a fictitious animal Ellen

How can he do COLLATERAL BEAUTY ( if the character he was supposed to have been playing was practically not eating due to depression at the start) when he is going to look like this ...and even more physically-stunning...as the CB filming progresses while he continues with his Wolverine muscle buildup Unless they give him a costume wardrobe in different sizes Jo

Haha Although working in a gym was where he faced his first crossroads. Wasn't he working at the front desk of a gym when he met two important people in his life. One was Mike Ryan who started him on a life of fitness (and eventually to Wolverine-ready muscles) and the other was the " white witch" who predicted that he would become a star! Didn't he eventually turn down a role in Neighbours and instead decided to go to WAAPA? www.mensjournal.com/magazine/you-dont-know-hugh-jackman-20130128?page=2Jo
