Hugh Jackman's social media posts must be of the topmost variety -- fun, serious, recommendatory, self-effacing, issue-based, informative, teasing, etc.

He is putting his knowledge of mass communications to good use! And adapting to the modern age when it comes to how his public profile is viewed - direct to the consumer via consumer-friendly media.

On the video, shot at a Manhattan esplanade alongside the Hudson River, the off-camera Jackman asks pandemic-masked New York City Parks Enforcement Officer John Dobkowski to "say what you just said to me."

I just discovered something!

Origins:Wolverine was disliked by fans ... and I could not understand why after I saw it. I thought it had an excellent storyline and the characters well-developed and were filled by very good actors (including Liev Schreiber,Danny Huston,Ryan Reynolds, etc.). Until it was later known that what fans saw for the first time was a LEAKED copy of an unfinished film. It was said that then Fox owner Rupert Murdoch requested an advance copy and people believe that in the process of transmitting him the copy someone was able to steal a copy who then uploaded it online, including all the unfinished CGIs, etc.

The other complaint was how the character of Deadpool was developed. But fans did not seem to understand that the concept used was that of an unfinished mutant from the man called Wade Wilson. Remember how the lady scientist/doctor was telling Stryker ( Danny Huston) that the mutant was NOT ready and he was half-finished but he insisted on sending him out to fight Wolverine? Thus Wade Wilson had his mouth still shut and unfinished! He was not yet the fully developed Deadpool,the merc with a mouth!

We know that the script was originally written by David Benioff...but later on found out that the script was turned down and a new set of writers were hired presumably by Fox co-CEO Tom Rothman to gear it more towards a PG-13 audience.

Here's the story --

David Benioff was hired in 2004 to write the screenplay for the X-Men spin-off X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009). He based his script on Barry Windsor-Smith's "Weapon X" story, Chris Claremont and Frank Miller's 1982 limited series on the character,[23][24] as well as the 2001 limited series Origin.[25] Hugh Jackman collaborated on the script, which he wanted to be more of a character piece than the previous X-Men films.[26] Fox later hired Skip Woods to revise and rewrite Benioff's script.[27] Benioff had aimed for a "darker and a bit more brutal" story, writing it with an R rating in mind, but acknowledged the film's final tone would rest with the producers and director.[23]

Sometimes I hate Tom Rothman LOL!

*It could have discouraged Hugh Jackman from further script-writing or at least providing inputs to scripts in the future
*The movie, which had Hugh Jackman as a producer, could have made the perfect solo trilogy with THE WOLVERINE & LOGAN

Btw, David Benioff real name is David Benioff Friedman, the son of former Chairman of THE Goldman Sachs! He would eventually be writer and showrunner for Game of Thrones.

Hugh Jackman made a pre-recorded appearance during the coronation concert to invite the King to the set of "Deadpool 3," shooting in the U.K. this summer.

This confirms the filming at Pinewood Studio in London.

Pinewood Studio is undergoing a major expansion of its filmmaking facilities. Disney is reported to have signed a longterm deal (10 yrs or so?) with the studio. Hence major projects like the Deadpool-Wolverine movie is scheduled to do its principal photography in London. There are some reports that filming may last up to early fall?
