I just got back from two days away on our city on top of a mountain range ( a city of pines, with springlike weather -- but that is another story)...

Is this for a special appearance??

Sometime ago,  Kristin Chenoweth was mentioned in an article on VOGUE that she was putting on a show at the Met ( not singing with the Met) but a show that could fit in with his soprano training. I remembered that she mentioned in an interview that Hugh Jackman would be a special guest. It did not push through, though.

Now this one -- what could it be all about

The 25th Annual Baron Investment Conference drew over 5,000 Baron Funds' shareholders today at the Metropolitan Opera House at Lincoln Center in New York City.

Shareholders of the 13 Baron Funds were invited to the all-day conference, which included presentations from four CEOs of businesses in which the funds have invested (see below). Those presentations were followed by remarks from Baron Capital Group President Linda Martinson. Amy Chasen, director of research at Baron, then moderated a panel of Baron fund managers.

The presentations were concluded with remarks from Baron Capital Group Chairman and CEO Ron Baron.

Baron Capital Group, at its own expense, presents the event to Baron Funds shareholders in recognition for their support of the Baron investment team and process, and provides entertainment in appreciation. This year's surprise performer was Hugh Jackman, following performances earlier in the day by Louis CK, members of the cast of Hamilton, and Kenny Loggins.

Is it the excellent acoustics of the Met ?? Is it just me -- or does his voice and vocal rendition of a part of Valjean's Soliloquy more spectacular and stunning? The voice is ringing -- goose pimples time

Maybe he can develop his high baritone even better for other types of singing?
