How about a new thread discussing some of his interesting or memorable quotes?
From interviews or tweets --
This insight from Hugh was never more evocative than when I saw him during A STEADY RAIN, towards the end of the play.
As he (as Denny) sat down with Joey (Daniel Craig) in front of the stage, while they reminisced about boyhood memories (while he was always aware what a bleak future lies ahead) I could not be more astonished ( impressed!) as tears coursed down his cheek. And since I saw the play up close five times, it was so incredible to see this happening every night! I thought then that he was truly a great actor, if he could summon emotions called for by the scene at will! One wonders if he is simply harking back to the acting techniques he was taught or has experienced, or whether life's lessons had also a role in it?
I would like to explore other things he has said, whether about his craft, or his philosophy in life, or simply about the everyday aspects of life!
PS: A good source of easily accessible quotes are from his Facebook Page.

I know this wasn't Jo's intention when she created this thread, but Hugh was asked to comment about the recent shootings in Colorado and I didn't want to start a new topic for it, so I'm sticking it here. Apparently, he spent some time with the Aussie PM. As he prepares to shoot a new comic book movie in Sydney, Hugh Jackman has joined the movie world's dismay over the Colorado shootings during a screening of The Dark Knight Rises.
"All I can echo is just the sorrow I feel for the families, for the community, for everybody," he said from the set of The Wolverine. "It's an issue that goes obviously way beyond acting, beyond film, beyond anything like that."
