What seems to be favorites with kids based on social media reactions and song covers -- *The Greatest Show - because they can cosplay -- with hat and cane -- and jump/sing around, including stomping their feet  *A Million Dreams - maybe because they identify with the young Phineas and Charity - or they could identify with the lyrics ... or maybe this is one of the easiest songs for kids to sing? |

Social media reactions here in my country are very, very positive! Here's one -- And three major entertainers who saw the movie together are so taken with the music and said that they may sing some songs from the movie at their coming Valentine Day shows. PS: I'm seeing it again tomorrow -- on IMAX Jo |

I just saw another screening of THE GREATEST SHOWMAN in IMAX format! Wow! Double Wow!!  The visuals are resplendent and so clear, the sounds ( dialog and songs) are crisp and so true, and the overall feel is magical! FOX has announced IMAX screening in the USA just a few days ago. I think if FOX is able to secure more IMAX screens ( the Maze Runner/Jumanji/and soon, Black Panther are or will be hogging them) -- it can draw in unbelievable repeat patronage! Great movie-watching experience! I was holding my breath most of the time, or I might miss a glitter of color or a ringing sound! The production numbers are particularly awe-inspiring! And Hugh's expression on his uplifted face after a big musical number looks so pleased ( as if the box office success in the movie will be replicated in real life, which he did not know will actually happen ) ...And for an instance or two -- I thought I could discern a Wolverine-like frown or intent in some of the more tense moments Jo |

The movie is late to our Philippine shores - but our young people are as taken with the musical as other energy-filled fans in other countries -- here's a flash mob scene outside the IMAX theatre where the movie is being screened. |

Both roles require the same athletic ability There is a scene in THE GREATEST SHOWMAN which seemed like it was modelled after a scene in LOGAN -- *Logan running very fast up the mountain, to catch the tormentors of the fleeing young mutants!*Phineas running very fast ( and singing!), to catch the train on the way back to his family!Second trailer -- Very briefly, at around 4'18" |
