Wouldn't it be great if, as Hugh said in a recent interview, they may re-release the movie at Christmastime!!
It will be a real holiday treat if it is shown on IMAX -- the spectacle, the production numbers, the singing, the costumes, the sets... and the close-up acting... all holiday goodies!
It will also give those people who saw it only on the small screen... and those who have not seen it … a chance to relive or experience it for the first time on a grand scale!

Why not -- *We have seen themed cakes *Kids wore the troupe's costumes ( esp the red coattails) for Halloween *Improvised tophats and canes are in demand Maybe a whole circus troupe, with most of the interesting characters, including elephants and tigers/lions, as a toy set under a tent? Maybe a snowglobe with the circus troupe singing and dancing to THE GREATEST SHOW...or a snowglobe for a trapeze act with REWRITE THE STARS? Maybe a magic lamp with kaleidoscopic images, with A MILLION DREAMS in the background? I am sure if you ask the kids, they can think of all kinds of amusements  FOX - hear, hear!! Jo |

I had one concession to the musical  I found a tree ornament given to me years back by my sister. It was a sheer glass snowman with a black top hat and a red muffler, which was a souvenir of our Xmas shopping at Bryant Park Christmas fair a few years back. Now he has a name, which I wrote with a calligraphy pen -- THE GREATEST S NOWMAN! Jo |
