When Jimmy Fallon gushed about the success of Greatest Showman, Hugh agreed that there is a totally new fandom -- those how have not actually seen Wolverine ( because they are too young for PG-13/R)  Jimmy said that it is amazing how kids have become the show's great fans ( including his young relatives who say TGS is their favorite album). Also, there have been a few tweets saying that surprisingly, when babies are being grumpy, the music of TGS tends to soothe them. Not sure if it is an exaggeration, though It might be an interesting psychological study to find out why a mature movie musical ( even if it is rated PG) has become universal favorites with the kids! I giggle when I see very young girls trying to outdo Jenny Lind with Never Enough! Jo |

Why has the movie and the musical score created so much love, devotion, and singleminded attachment from the very young? Even Hugh was very surprised at such identification with the movie and the songs by kids? And it is also surprising that it is the character of Barnum in most cases that is being copied and becoming the source of inspiration - costume and all - by both boys and girls! You see it in birthday party themes, in Halloween costumes, in school projects...and in many bedrooms and living rooms where the TV blares with the songs and the dancing! There was even a little girl trying to copy Ishay's incredible dance moves in From Now On! Incredible  Jo |
