Would have loved to be a fly on the wall during the filming of “The Other Side.”
I hope a lot of outtakes are included on the DVD/Blu-ray.

Hugh and Keala also played backgammon on the set.
Here's Keala's account on the first time she met Hugh --

This probably doesn’t belong here, but I don’t know where else to mention it.
Spotted the late Philo Barnum himself at the cafe in the Signature theater complex this evening. (That’s Broadway musical actor Will Swenson, husband of Audra McDonakd.) I’ve seen him in several musicals, including as Javert in the recent revival of LES MIZ and in drag in PRISCILLA, QUEEN OF THE DESERT. When I caught that advance screening of THE GREATEST SHOWMAN, I was surprised he was in a non-musical role. Maybe he just wanted to branch out. But given his background, I wonder how he feels about being in a movie whose soundtrack is breaking records—but he’s not represented in that vein. Kind of ironic.
Edit: Well, now I know why Will Swenson was at the Signature. He was in the raucous, way-out musical I saw tonight, Jerry Springer: The Opera, a revisal of the show that played for a limited time in NYC some years back. He played Jerry’s smarmy audience warm-up guy as well as Satan ( don’t ask). Terrence Mann played Springer. First act good, often funny and not for the easily offended. Second act a disappointing mishmash; ditto on the easily offended.

I thought the swaying sheets were all CGIs Maybe they just added a few more CGI'ed images to make the dancing sheets attract more attention

While looking at Niko Tavernise's website -- www.nikotavernise.com/tablet/index.htmlI checked out STILLS and FILM! And now it has clicked where I faintly remembered having encountered Niko Tavernise's name before ( I am not referring to the photo credits that his name is associated with now ) -- a long time ago, I remember Darren Aronofsky talking about a documentary on THE FOUNTAIN that was made and that it was done by a talented young man, whose name I eventually forgot. That was Niko Tavernise Check out "FILM" from the main link ( shown above) and you will discover the documentary! It is a gem - especially when you see the Hugh parts while they were filming. Check out STILLS to see 3 photos he took of Hugh/Rachel/A Scene! PS -- Did Niko Tavernise do all the filming of the pre-release Behind- the- Scenes publicity that we saw last year? Presumably, those could be included in the BluRay/DVD release? And is it possible that he could have also done a more formal documentary on the Making of The Greatest Showman? Jo

Also, please note the announcement from FOX --
