This trailer is addictive! The movie is released earlier in the UK ( April 5, compared to the USA which has an April 12 release date).

In the USA, there are 4 WIDE Releases on April 12, 2019 --
The rest are on limited release.

Thanks. More insights on the kind of person and actor Hugh Jackman is! That thing about his Mum telling him about appreciating everyone he comes in contact with him -- if you have a chance to meet him at the stagedoor, there is proof of that kindness and human connection always. Interesting about the way some of his shows have sold out. I wonder if Hugh has realized how many people have shared on social media that it will be repeat patronage (not just single viewing of the show  ) for them when he comes to town  For some ( like me)- because of personal experience when travelling far to see a performance, multiple viewing chances also work like an insurance policy. In the theatre, it is so disappointing when a performer is out on the day you came to see the show. So, if I am travelling far just to see a particular performance, I would get tickets for at least 2 shows, maybe a few days apart Jo |

When did he start working on this? He has said it took some 2 ( ?) years to work on the puppetry itself. Judging from his facial hair - did he start on this while growing one for LOGAN?

I think on the BBC interview he said he worked on it over a period of 3-4 years; would "drop in" to work on scenes with director. So then the facial hair would make sense. When did he start working on this? He has said it took some 2 ( ?) years to work on the puppetry itself. Judging from his facial hair - did he start on this while growing one for LOGAN? Jo |

Late 2015 - he was in BroadwaytoOz ( no facial hair) February 2016 - he was in the TGS final workshop ( he already had some facial hair in that final workshop) April/May 2016 - LOGAN filming ( full facial hair plus extensions) October/November 2016 - Greatest Showman filming start ( no facial hair) February 2017 - LOGAN premiere at the Berlinale ( scruff only) March/April 2017 - completed TGS filming ( no facial hair) October-November 2017 - The FrontRunner filming ( no facial hair) November 2017 - media tour for GREATEST SHOWMAN ( no facial hair) December 2017 - TGS premiere and other promos ( no facial hair) Mid-to-Late 2018 - Bad Education filming ( no facial hair) Late 2018 - completed production for Missing Link Jackman facial hair timeline - LOL!
