Jason Reitman infuses #TheFrontRunner with a lot of vérité-style character that makes it stand out nicely from other recent political/press dramas. As always, Jackman (exciting to see him in such a role) and the likes of Vera Farmiga and JK Simmons are a delight to watch. #LFF

A front runner for the Oscars for sure 👍👏.

Director Jason Reitman at The May Fair Hotel Gala of The Front Runner. Unfortunately, Hugh Jackman couldn't attend due to a plane malfunction 🙁. But he sent his best wishes by video. In return we sang (badly 😮!) Happy Birthday for his 50th, recorded by Jason on his phone. Nice to see the surprise birthday vid on the set where a band played Happy Birthday to Hugh. He can really dance too 😀!

Based on the book All The Truth Is Out by Matt Bai, it tells the true story of the fall from grace of 1988 Democrat presidential candidate Gary Hart. As Jason said, Hugh Jackman gave his everything in a powerhouse performance as Hart. As he also hinted, you can see how we got to where we are now politically. Interesting to think how different things might be now had Hart won.
