Sorry for pressing, but still don't get where she posted it. Was it on an instagram comment thread? Re that exchange with the Zurich fan -- this was the original post ( and my reply) which prodded me to reply to it) : That prompted the second exchange we had, which I had shared on this page. I have also wondered whether stagedoor behavior and expectations for pop concerts are different If you posted something like he did on a theatre site ( like BWW or ATC), it is likely that you will get a dressing down. Even pre-show attempts to see the actor is a NO-NO for theatre fans, because they say the actor may already be preparing mentally or emotionally for the role he is expected to play ( maybe especially for dramatic plays?). Depends on the actor's preference. Hope there are no similar expectations from fans when his tour continues in the USA. PS: Btw, a few people actually cheered her original post, saying that " it is the job of the performer to meet fans at the stagedoor...and if the fans do not buy tickets, the seats will be vacant" Jo I didn't mean to ignore your post, hughmanity - I was just in the middle of posting the updates. Here you are -- http://instagr.am/p/BxqD7TqHVXZ It is the Thank-You-Zurich image he posted. You have to continue scrolling down...and when you see the encircled-plus-sign, click on it to display further responses. Btw that is where I saw the post of Lauren Shuler Donner with the message " Love you, Hughie". Lauren is the Fox producer of XMEN movies who spotted Hugh in Oklahoma! and went to bat for him when they were replacing Dougray Scott for the part. She has since produced all the XMEN movies with Wolverine in it. She is married to another famous film producer ( Richart Donner). Kevin Feige ( now Marvel Chief President) used to work as her assistant in the first XMen movies. Lauren was battling with cancer in the latter years. She did manage to produce LOGAN. Jo

Not being facetious - but what if everyone of the over-10,000 audience members all decided to show up at the stage door before and/or after the performance That would be a crazier scene than the TBFO closing show scene when Hugh ( standing on the ramp of his vehicle so he could be seen by the throngs of people) said Goodbye to fans! A very busy and awesome week for France this week --
*The Cannes Film Festival is ongoing *The Monaco Grand Prix ( principally is located in, physically-speaking, within the borders of France) follows thereafter -- this Grand Prix is considered the "crown jewel" of the Formula One series -- only one where the sponsors congregate in their yachts while watching the race in the harbor. It is the only one where the Practice Sessions happen on a Thursday, so the Friday is spent for socializing. *The draw for the French (Tennis) Open happens on Thursday
*And of course Hugh Jackman's #TMTMTS music show happens on May 22!

Er⦠he/she is expecting a typical pop concert??
And not the theatre show that it turned out to be? It has always been meant as a personal restrospective, as they relate to his film and stage musicals career. Once Before I Go was the encore and the farewell song!

It will be interesting to see how the audience will react to the LES MISERABLES segment! The show is happening in the very city where Victor Hugo told the story of the student revolt, where Valjean lent his hand to the doomed friends of the ABC, where Javert continued his pursuit of Valjean and where Javert realized the kind of man the fugitive Valjean was, where Javert found his peace in the river Seine, where Marius and Cosette fell in love, and where Valjean finally lay to rest in an unmarked grave at the Pere Lachaise ( so the story goes)! Hugh must also feel a special attachment to the city where the story of one of his most memorable film portrayals took place! Jo

The ultimate impact after seeing an exceptional show and performance -- it is not just humming the tunes, but :
The Metro is the French subway.
