I've always admired male dancers (performers or in real life) whose movements start with the hips, without the upper body moving differently.
Hugh does it very well!

The BJuice fanatics are still at it The lame reply Why they have to make a dig at Hugh...is senseless to me! Talent for talent - they will never win the argument! Period! Jo

Aside from our primary hope—wanting everyone to be healthy and safe and this health crisis over—I’m sure a lot of us would prefer that everything be back to normal on Broadway even earlier than October: specifically by September 9, the date of the first MUSIC MAN preview. Those early previews are pretty nearly sold out. Can you imagine the mess involved in refunding or rescheduling thousands of ticket holders?

Hope that doesn't ever happen!! In case it does and the show is postponed -- here are the current instructions (FAQs) from Telecharge for refunding tickets ( applicable to shows which closed due to Broadway going dark) and other matters on dealing with Telecharge and other theatre matters -- www.telecharge.com/siteinfo.aspx?siteinfotype=helpfaqMost important section --

Re TMM - nobody knows how long things may return to normalcy. Hopefully, this could be of a relatively short duration. If the stats from China are accurate, it seems that they may have already entered the early phase of recovery ( when the rate of infection starts going down ...and some early economic and social activity can already be allowed). If they started reporting cases in November 2019, could it be likely that the impact would approximate 6 months, assuming strict control of the movement of people and the deep cleaning of the environment? And hopefully already some medical breakthrough! TMM is supposed to start rehearsals in July ( Btw, even if BJuice reopens on Broadway - their contract ends in early June) - although that need not take place at the WinterGarden itself ( which gives the theatre time to do some deep-cleaning, maybe even refurbishing. in preparation to the entry of the new production, TMM) ? March to August - that would be 6 months. Let's hope that by September, the theatre would be ready, the cast and crew would be ready, and the public would already be willing to be inside a theatre! There's a long preview period ( Sept 9 to October 14) -- could they cut the earlier part ( after all, it is a revival and not an original production that may need more time...and they may have a longer time to rehearse given the circumstances now) if necessary so it can still officially open on October 15? This is one reason why I do not plan for shows scheduled for early previews -- I once did that for a London trip and the previews were altogether cancelled. I had to wait for another trip to be able to see the show when it eventually opened. I also like to see shows after generally the first 2 months of staging -- the show is generally frozen, the cast is still very fresh and likely injury-free, and the show is still talk of the town ( enthusiastic audience!) This was posted on BWW ( I just saw it) --
There was no link on the story about the NYC Health Inspector's outlook.

The show is being used for a fundraising purpose, likely for The Raleigh Little Theatre ?
The invite is dated March 16, well aware of the current health threat which may spill over into late summer?
Looks like an attractive offer...would even be better if the dates are much later into late fall?

From the BWW board --
We are all hoping the health issue has settled down to the extent that by Labor Day, the bright lights of Broadway will be seen again...and that Hugh and The Music Man and the "76 trombones will lead the big parade!"
