From GuardiansOfTheFandom.com --
Then maybe more monolog from Wolverine of the impact of their death would have added poignancy to the story of their deaths. It is not very clear how it impacted on Logan other than his mournful expression.

People think he is wearing a wig because of this photo while he is undergoing makeup...and because there is a wig on a prototype on the table? I think they just wet his hair...because they are combing it like what was pictured on the prototype ( must be the approved makeup & hairstyle look)...it is cumbersome to do so many difficult fight scenes and for the wig not to go astray. Hugh has relatively long hair on top which can be styled any which way? Jo

A previous hair and make up montage video posted proved it as they are shown putting it on plus it looks like a wig in the completed project.

Yeah, it doesn’t look like a wig, plus Hugh looks younger. The Wolverine was released 11 years ago! Wow, time flies! You nailed it Ruby! Nancy

Does this reply satisfy the fandom?
The movie is too much action-oriented that the emotional pause to appreciate Logan's deep-seated feelings of loss and guilt seemed lost in the storytelling. Personally, I would like to have seen maybe at least a scene showing Logan grieving deeply at the sight of the slain XMen -- no need to hire the well-known actors -- they could be lying down without faces being shown? He felt that he was the worst variant ever because he failed them -- could he have saved them?
Maybe an emotional scene with Logan/Wolverine crumpling in despair and sadeness ( similar to when he saw Prof Xavier slain in the original trilogy). But that's me!
(Hmmm... I wonder if Levy decided not to show a very emotional Wolverine because it would have completely stolen the movie from Deadpool? Lol - as it is - he never realized that that well-oiled torso would do the job at the end!)

The last time Hugh showed only one claw -- was to announce that LOGAN will be his one last time as Wolverine!

Hugh discusses an iconic fight choreography which had him running out of breath for the first time.
