You know who I heard they want to direct Secret Wars? Alfonso Cuarón (Gravity, Children of Men)

I hope this really happens!

A story from long ago -- when The Fountain was screened at the Venice filmfest, Cuaron was there for ChildrenOfMen. He almost got into a fistfight with someone who was booing The Fountain after its screening, which he also attended. I have always hoped Hugh Jackman would be able to work with him in some future film.

A few deride it as simple fan service... but many think it can even beat AVATAR!

I think Hugh has an advantage here - because the Wolverine character is the most controversial. His persona attracts attention. And Hugh has the best screen charisma. Evans may be goodlooking, McGuire may be more boyish, Downey looks serious -- so the one who can outshine them can be Hugh! Of course, it will depend on the script and the role each one plays.
