In the wet tropics ( like the Philippines), we do not have the four seasons characteristics of the temperate zone countries. Occasionally, there might be a tree or 2 that has colorful foliage...but still in a tropical setting.  |

Having gone to school in western Massachusetts and spending Thanksgiving around Boston a few times... and having lived in NYC after that -- I do miss certain reminders of the fall harvest. Hence, this tablescape where I did try to recreate the bounties of fall!  PS: Only the orange pumpkin is edible  |

In contrast, so as not to compete with fall's glorious colors, this Chanel collection for 2023/24 features muted colors. It used to be that the fall season in NYC also heralded new shows on Broadway! The Tonys are usually held in June...and new shows open in the fall.
Hugh Jackman's shows ( The Boy From Oz / A Steady Rain / Back On Broadway / The River / The Music Man ) all opened for previews in the fall.
