Hugh Jackman is moving into another branch of the performing arts, not as an actor ( although I would not be surprised if he does cameos occasionally) - but as TV producer.
In the past, he was credited as Producer for XMen Origins: Wolverine. He used to own SEED Productions which produced a few movies (Deception/ Drive starring Ryan Gosling) and TV sports shows for Australia.
More recemtly, he was uncredited producer for an original movie musical, The Greatest Showman, a passion project from 2009 but took till 2017 to be released. He was Exec Producer for The Son and will also do executive producer work for The Death of Robin Hood.
Here's Variety's report on his new creative venture - a TV series.

Fox is developing a drama series that boasts Hugh Jackman among its executive producers.
Currently titled “Billionaire Apocalypse,” the series hails from writer and executive producer Jay Carson. Lawrence Bender and Kevin Brown executive produce alongside Jackman. Fox Entertainment Studios will produce.
The official logline states, “The richest man on the planet, 200 of his employees, and his family are forced to flee to his private island in the wake of a global financial collapse, where the employees and family members — who he’s treated as afterthoughts for decades — quickly realize he’s no longer rich and thus no longer in charge.”
Carson previously worked with Jackman, as Carson co-wrote the screenplay for the film “The Front Runner,” in which Jackman starred as U.S. Senator Gary Hart. Carson is also the creator of Apple TV+’s “The Morning Show” and served as a supervising producer on “House of Cards” at Netflix. He began his career in politics, including working Chuck Schumer’s first run for Senate in 1998, followed by working on Hillary Clinton’s 2000 Senate race. He also worked as press secretary for U.S. Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle. Among other positions, he was the Chief Deputy Mayor of Los Angeles under Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.
He is repped by CAA and Entertainment 360.
Jackman is best known for his work in the “X-Men” film franchise, having played the character of Logan/Wolverine for over 20 years across 10 films. He most recently played the character in the blockbuster film “Deadpool & Wolverine.” Jackman is also known for his roles in films like “Prisoners,” “The Greatest Showman,” “Les Misérables,” “The Prestige,” and “Bad Education.” He is also a highly-accomplished stage actor, winning the Tony Award for best actor in a musical in 2004 for “The Boy from Oz.” He was also nominated in the same category in 2022 for “The Music Man.”
He is repped by WME, Lou Coulson Associates, and Sloane Offer.
Bender is known for producing multiple films with Quentin Tarantino, including “Reservoir Dogs,” “Pulp Fiction,” “Jackie Brown,” “Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2,” and “Inglorious Basterds.” His other credits include “Good Will Hunting,” “Hacksaw Ridge,” and “Silence.” He and Brown also worked together on the television shows “Seven Seconds” at Netflix starring Regina King and the Starz drama “Flesh and Bone.”
Bender is repped by WME and Goodman Genow.
