Hi everyone,

I just wanted to let you know that our mom, Pat, passed away in her sleep on Saturday morning. She was a dedicated member of this forum and was online several times a day checking in with all of you. She valued the updates, the laughs, and the comraderie of the other Ozalots, and I believe she met a few of you out in the real world as well.

I just wanted to let you know the news, and thank you for providing this joy to her in her last decade.

Lee Anne, our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family at this difficult time. As Nancy has said, we would definitely want to know her "screen name". It is so amazing of you to think of informing us in the midst of all that must be going on right now. This forum is filled with so many caring and beautiful hearts and that's why I was drawn to want to be a member (just to be near them all)! And now, one has gone home and we will miss her dearly. Heartfelt blessings to you!

Lee Anne, Our thoughts and prayers are indeed with you. Your Mom was a wonderful lady who loved to keep up on Hugh news. Though she didn't post frequently she did email with a few of us occasionally. Thank you so much for taking the time to let us know of her passing. She will be missed.

A friend has just sent me an email with the very sad news that this is our PAT from the Ozalot board who posted once in a while and with whom we enjoyed watching Hugh in some live performances.

A few others and I shared some very happy moments in Sydney for the TBFO -arena tour with Pat and her husband Bob ( who are from Boston). We had some post-show drinks together and analyzed everything from that performance! She also had some delightful moments meeting Hugh backstage, through the kindness of Kenny Ortega.

We exchanged occasional emails after that - and even later, as we followed Hugh's stage career.

This is all very sad news!

I met Pat and her husband Bob at the same time that I met Jo in Sydney in 2006. Jo invited us
to join her and a few other Ozalots for drinks after the show. That's when we met Pat and Bob,
and we became friends. They had family in the New York area, so whenever they came in,
we would get together for dinner. We went together to see "A Steady Rain", and they came in
last year to see Hugh in Back on Broadway. We would email each other and talk on the phone
occasionally. She was a wonderful, kind, funny, classy woman, who will be greatly missed.

This is been a very difficult couple of months for me, between losing my very close pal and
fellow Ozalot, Gisela, and now Pat. I miss them both very, very much.



Lee Anne, thank you for letting the board know about Pat. Please know that she was very
special to me, and our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
