First interview with Isabelle Allen. So cute! The only negative is that they played more of Anne & Russell singing than Isabelle, and the interviewer didn't ask how she liked playing opposite Hugh who she had most of her scenes with. Enjoy! youtu.be/HpMObR2GRiA

Who knew that our composers were such hams! Of course we did have that one picture of them doing their cameo singing on the barricade.[laugh] I don't know where this took place. Anyone know??? I wish I could find other videos from the night. Looks like it was a great show! Enjoy! youtu.be/PnAzdHiTEx4I know I'm cross posting or double posting or whatever they are calling it these days. It used to be considered a no-no years ago but I see it done all the time now and I never see anyone complaining about it like they used to. I'm talking back when we had 'newsgroups' so...years ago! LOL! I don't know if it's still considered bad form. Anyway if anyone objects let me know and I won't do it. Sue

Thanks, Sue, for both clips! In the second one, Alain and Claude Michel must have been proud to hear their universal anthem sung everywhere, including some of the audience singing along DO YOU HEAR THE PEOPLE SING is the anthem of the show itself and was originally called A LA VOLONTE DU PEUPLE. In case anyone is interested -- Here is how it was first sung, in the original French production of the show in 1980 ( 32 years ago!) -- www.youtube.com/watch?v=zu1eyEvcEG0It was sung mostly by Enjolras and was only joined by the group at the end-chorus. And even with 2000 voices singing it, it never fails to engage the audience -- www.youtube.com/watch?v=sz35pTMJOWM&feature=relatedThis is the song that touches me most Jo

Less than 2 days to go for the Everyone Matters ticket raffle for the NYC premiere. They have added a room at the Waldorf as part of the package, for one- night only! But, the response so far has not been very strong - only 57.5% has been subscribed. www.facebook.com/everyonematters?sk=app_2434330035Why not take a chance, if you have not made the $ 25 donation ? Several interviews with Aussie media -- please pick up the links from this IMDB thread. www.imdb.com/title/tt1707386/board/nest/207454063In the Ann Sanders interview -- could that be Hugh singing Bring Him Home at 3'37? ?? > Edit: Some say it is Colm! ...The suspense continues

I was out most of the day but I downloaded these beautiful pictures this morning before I left. Except for these last two. These pix are really amazing. I just love thinking about the scene it comes from and trying to imagine the movie...any guess about the one in the raggedy coat in what looks to be an alleyway? I feel like time is slowing down again. Since seeing these movie stills and hearing all the comments about the screenings Christmas just started feeling like it'll never come!! I think I'm 12 again! 8-) Sorry, I know you have to wait longer so I'll stop complaining now. Sue

This one ? Maybe during the long trek through the sewers? Maybe he tentatively dropped Marius from his arms...and he was checking out the direction in which they should go. I know that he wore only long shirt and a vest in the scenes at Cafe Musain/barricade, but he might have put on a coat afterwards? The other scene where he was trying out escape routes with Cosette, but there he was wearing a different coat ( shown above in the photo still with Cosette)...so maybe not that one...and maybe my original suspicion that it is the Parisian sewers. Talking about the sewers scenes - someone who saw it commented that that scene is both great and "gross" ( which we can understand because of the description in the screenplay). Sometimes, I feel annoyed that not enough credit is being given to Hugh for all the difficult acting chores and tasks he has had to do during the entire filming. I hope the coming days will improve the perception of why this is HIS movie and not somebody else's Jo
