Just saw an ad for Hugh being a guest on Dr. Oz's 1000th episode airing May 7th. Not sure when the episode is being taped though.

Carol, I think he's on tomorrow, along with the Dr. Oz appearance. Tonight he's on ABC's World News Tonight.

Please share if there is anything important. We don't get the telecast, even a replay.

I recorded most of GMA but I didn't see Hugh's segment when I fast-forwarded through it. Was he on?
Re Dr. Oz, there's some great stuff--and Hugh looks wonderful--but do yourself a favor and don't watch it while you're eating.

I was skeptical, too, because Hugh and Offerman were co-guests on the show in the past. But my daughter says it's new. Hugh was only just booked the other day. Maybe to talk about the Dukale documentary?
Late edit: Just read about the food security advocacy push. Maybe that?

Yes, Hugh brought along the new trailer. The movie's looking better all the time. Although I don't know how the audience will remember it this far in advance of October 9. I was surprised: no mention of DUKALE'S DREAM or the food revolution campaign. They played Password, and I think the two teams tied. A week or so ago Jimmy tried Vegemite on the show and practically upchucked. So Hugh came to its passionate defense, even to the point of bringing a toaster, white bread and of course a jar of the product Jimmy had maligned. . Hugh showed Jimmy how he had been using it the wrong way. Did Jimmy like it this time? Tune in tonight and find out. By the way, Hugh looked gorgeous. Ellen

Thanks for the advance word, Ellen Maybe they are strengthening the promotion for PAN and we will now see progressive reminders of the forthcoming movie. I just saw the trailer for its main competition, STEVE JOBS, with Michael Fassbender on E! ( not sure, but it is one of the entertainment sites) -- er...no offense meant - but who would want to see what seems to be a boring movie ( I know, it is the Apple creator...or was it really him...I think he was just the face of Apple and iPhones and iPads) - they have even made Fassy look boring... They are pitched towards different markets, except for the young boys who grew up loving Peter Pan who probably now have Apple products -- but who cares about a biopic when a fantas-y-tic movie is the other choice! Of course biopics are notorious Oscar baits, but the last time a tech movie (Social Network) was the biopic of choice another Brit movie with a Brit director stole the thunder (King's Speech) Jo

If you get HBO, or can figure out how to see the May 17th episode of Last Week Tonight With John Oliver for free, watch it! Very funny segment about Australia and Hugh Jackman. Nancy "We're keeping him!" We certainly are. Thanks for the tip, Nancy. Carol

Yes, that's the snazzy suit he wore to the show. He looked like a billion bucks. (I've updated the phrase to allow for inflation.)

Here's the trailer -- www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y1wRv8vTpxoThat is absolutely fantas-y-tic!! Purely magical!! Sheer entertainment. Can't wait -- but October 8 (our release date here in the Philippines) is still a long wait. *Did you notice the ship figurehead is in the image of Blackbeard? Hey, that would be a cool souvenir for Hugh...unless they become part of a studio tour, along with Harry Potter ( this is in Leavesden, England). *Blackbeard looks more menacing without the wig. *Blackbeard and Tiger Lily are in a fight till death ? *Did you notice that the mermaids are all portrayed by one actress, Cara Delevigne? *Love the quality of Hugh's voice as he does a narration. Didn't Bryan Singer say that part of what won him over in Hugh's final audition was "the weight of his voice". *It looks like a very feisty relationship beween Tiger Lily and James Hook. *The animals are out-of-this world and will charm all the kids Can't wait!! Just watched the satellite replay of the Fallon show -- *The trailer was truncated. The official upload is much better and more revealing. *Hugh still has that special glow that he has been sporting lately *He does look like as he hasn't aged much! He must have gotten the secret from Peter Pan Jo

That John Oliver bit was hilarious. Glad Hugh's the exception. Ellen
