I remember seeing that play when Roy Scheider was the betrayed husband, Blythe Danner the wife and Raul Julia the lover. I was slightly confused at first because the action of the play runs backwards akin to the film MEMENTO and the wife's story in the musical THE LAST FIVE YEARS. Mostly what I remember about BETRAYAL are Julia's sultry portrayal and especially the final, heartbreaking tableau, frozen in time, as the audience realizes the happy beginning for the newly acquainted couple will not last. Great casting idea, Nancy. As Hugh himself has said, "I'm more of a lover than a fighter." Ellen

That makes more sense. The Wrap article said Oct.1-Nov. 3, which makes no financial sense.
UPDATE: Yep, I see this morning that they'd corrected the article. No wonder the original didn't make sense. A 14-week run is more standard for a limited engagement.
