There was a recent thread on BWW re the possibility of Hugh hosting the 2013 TONYs --

*Someone said that this has been an open secret for weeks ( presumably the theatre industry) and that Hugh is promoting HOUDINI early ( or did this poster just conclude on his own that Hugh might do it simply to promote Houdini?)
*The TONYs will be on June 9 and will be back at the Radio City Music Hall.
Earlier this year, Michael Riedel predicted that there is a chance Hugh may be hosting this year. MR usually has impeccable sources, but can Hugh's schedule permit it?
XMEN:Days of Future Past is scheduled to start filming on April 15 ( Prisoners is supposed to wrap by end-March or early April). Although this is an ensemble cast movie ( and his participation wil not be as lengthy and may not require longer film shoots for him) - the movie itself may take the usual 4 months or so for a blockbuster. So, will he have time to prepare for the hosting?
THE WOLVERINE is out in theaters on July 26, so assuming that the heavy promotion for the movie ( which may take him to other countries, too) is about a month, that gives him time to do the TONYs.
Just wondering -- if it is true that he is allegedly promoting Houdini - does this mean that the show is surer now of being on its way to completion ( maybe for spring 2014?)?
