I just returned from 6 weeks in Australia and have really missed this board. I want to say a very special thank you for the Ozalot I met along the way. This board is a very special place, with very special people. We did everything except Perth, Darwin and that place where the opal mines are. So if you're every in need of information, please feel free to PM me. My 5th grade wish has finally been fullfilled with many special people along the way. It's goood to be back, but I can say I didn't want to leave. :'(

Wow, you went 6 weeks without the internet? I couldn't do that! LOL! I'm sure you had a great trip and welcome back! ;D

Take a heart pill before looking at the number of your unread messages. Nice to "see" you back, Jackie, after your wonderful trip. Lucky you! Ellen

I had internet just to do my payroll. We were really on the move for all 6 weeks, including a few bumps (breaking 2 ribs, catching a virus with almost 103 degree temp). It was not always a bed of roses. We had saved frequend flyer miles for first class, but I still don't know how Hugh does it. I love Australia but hate the flight.

Well, he IS a superhero! 8-) Sounds like a trip of a lifetime...except for the broken ribs and virus! Maybe you can write up the highlights one day. ;D Sue

Welcome back, Jackie, and good for you! Travel is usually exciting but never seems to be trouble-free!
We've been saving miles for making the Oz/NZ trip, but it's a long flight even, as you said, going first class. Rest up!
Carol

Thanks for all the good wishes. Ellen, I'm trying to get caught up one day at a time, but this is going to be tough. Carol, no matter what you do, the trip is tough. Again, I don't know how Hugh does it. Even in first class, where you get a chair bed, it's not sleeping in a "real" bed. Keep saving those miles!!!! It only took about 15 years, but dreams can come true!! Jackie
