From the arena tour of TBFO in Australia -- in this photo, featuring Hugh and Chrissy! The role of Judy Garland in the TBFO tour was slightly altered from the portrayal by Isabel Keating on Broadway. Chrissy had originally portrayed the role of Judy in the original TBFO production ( before Broadway) and reprised the role when Hugh reprised his Peter Allen portrayal in Australia. Chrissy brought an aspect to her performance that evoked more of the personal struggles of Judy... and also honed in on the special relationship (professional and personal) between Peter and Judy. Chrissy's singing performance was of course spectacular! Rest in peace, Chrissy! Jo

I enjoyed her interpretation of Judy Garland. She approached the role differently than Isabel Keating did but was just as good. Loved her and Hugh's "Only an Older Woman" number in the wardrobe style of EASTER PARADE'S "A Couple of Swells." May she rest in peace.

Yes, sad news. I enjoyed Chrissy's performance, but I did not particularly agree with the Aussie interpretation of her character. The numbers she shared with Hugh were great additions to the show. This was my fave...
