It's not The Boy From OZ. It sounds more like a "Tribute" sort of show with songs linked to Judy/Liza (and others in Peter's life/career) as well as tunes written by Peter Allen. There is a tiny smidgen of Hugh's tour version about 1 min into the video, and Hugh is mentioned briefly in the interview, for "stealing" the TBFO role from Todd. www.youtube.com/watch?v=esfFdxrLOpY

Sounds like an entertaining show, but just a bit far to travel for "not Hugh." It's good to hear that there's still a lot of interest in seeing Peter's music performed in Australia. I loved the line, "Peter was all over the piano like a rash!" Carol

Fun interview, but you could tell from his line about Hugh's "stealing" the Peter Allen role that, despite the broad smile, Todd still blames Hugh rather than the TBFO producers who actively sought Hugh in the first place. I liked his imitation of Peter's normal speaking voice. Interestingly, Todd mentions he'd like to do a revival of BARNUM, which was once rumored to be in Hugh's future, although the Barnum on his horizon is now THE WORLD'S GREATEST SHOWMAN, assuming that movie ever gets made. I heard yet another Hugh connection, when Todd picked Brian Mannix as a likely DWTS winner. In several interviews, Hugh says he had never heard of the X-Men comics and thought the reference was to the Uncanny X-Men rock band in Sydney, of which Brian Mannix was the lead singer.
But I'm glad that Peter's music is being introduced to a new generation of concertgoers.
