Logan's History
Although some X-Men fans do not see the appeal of X:Men Origins: Wolverine, it is hard to dispute how incredible the opening credit scene is. Here, we are given a glimpse into James' (Logan's) life over the span of approximately 120 years, as he fights side by side with his brother in the American Civil War, both World Wars, and the Vietnam War. This scene plays a crucial role in showing fans what he was doing early on in his life, and ultimately how he came to meet Colonel William Stryker.

With the sound of clashing metal, he can immediately be seen and heard as he punches and headbutts his opponent in an easy victory. Afterwards, Logan is approached by the man who demands his money back and suspects him of being a mutant. The man then pulls a knife on him but is disarmed as Logan unleashes his adamantium claws.

Attack On Mansion
Although this is the second movie, this is the first time the fans see Wolverine in his full glory. In X2 after Stryker uses Magneto for information, he learns of the location of the mansion used by Professor Xavier and the other X-Men as the School For Gifted Youngsters. Stryker then orders a covert attack on the mansion which is being held down by Wolverine. This scene shows him as a leader and a total beast as he single-handedly takes down the entire strike team, protecting the mansion and the students.

Logan Saves Yashida
In 2013's The Wolverine, the movie begins in Hiroshima, Japan during the dropping of the atomic bomb in World War Two. As a young soldier, Yashida is about to take his life with the other officers when he is saved by Logan who rushes him into a bunker. As the bomb is dropped, Logan takes a piece of the hatch and covers Yashida with it to protect him from the blast, leaving himself completely vulnerable to the full force and heat of the bomb. This is where Logan's healing factor can be seen on full display as he gets completely charred by the blast, yet his body heals itself in a matter of seconds.

Explicit Cameo
In X-Men: First Class, the fans are given a cameo to satisfy their Wolverine appetites. In a scene where Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr are on a mission to seek out other mutants, they come across a bar. As they walk in, they approach Logan who is at the counter having a drink and smoking a cigar. Weapon X
In X-Men: Apocalypse; Jean, Cyclops, and Nightcrawler go to Alkali Lake to rescue the rest of their team who have been taken by William Stryker. Once in the facility, Jean unleashes something from behind a heavily sealed room. In an effort to change this, Kitty Pryde sends Wolverine to the past to ensure the Sentinels do not have a future. The reason why Wolverine is the only one capable of making this trip is because of his healing ability. His mind is essentially being torn apart, but it is also able to heal itself, making him the only one who can survive it.

Killing Jean
In terms of biggest moments for Wolverine in the movies, the scene at the end of X-Men: The Last Stand is undoubtedly one of the biggest and one of the toughest moments for him. In this movie, Jean Grey's power is becoming too strong for her to control. Nearing the end of the battle between the mutants, Jean is almost completely gone as the Dark Phoenix is taking over and begins to destroy everything and everyone around her. As the last piece of Jean breaks through, she begs Logan to save her. In 2017's Logan, fans are given a take on the Old Man Logan comics which portrays an older, weaker Wolverine. In the movie, Alkali is still performing experiments on mutants, except now they are using children to create soldiers made with the genetic code of other mutants.
As one of the biggest moments for Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, the final fight scene in the woods will forever be one of the more memorable ones. This scene gifts the fans with one more opportunity to see Wolverine in all his glory as he fights side by side with Laura (x23), his daughter.
1
Infusion Of Adamantium
It is impossible to mention Wolverine without bringing up his killer claws and adamantium skeleton. In X-Men Origins, Logan works with Stryker one last time in an experiment to infuse his skeleton with adamantium. Once the infusion is complete, Stryker orders the erasing of Logan's memory. Upon hearing this, Logan bursts out of the infusion tank with his enhanced strength and lets out a primal roar signaling the beginning of The Wolverine. Taking on gunfire that is now ricocheting off of him, Wolverine escapes from the facility unleashing the animal.
