Thanks, Ellen. Maybe because he may have been asked to use the right hand as the dominant hand in certain movies (and have been asked to put his wristwatch on his right hand) - he has become a little more ambidextrous. I wonder how he plays his sports where there is a dominant hand ( tennis, golf, etc). Jo You mean he was asked to put his watch on his left hand (wrist) And as for golfing, he was right handed in Swordfish. Nancy

Yes, he might have used his right hand for his (golf) swing for movie purposes - I wonder how he plays his sports in real life.

Two new clips ( Hugh is on entire clip - first one) -- www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/nailbiter111/news/?a=115447But having read and watched a few things recently, I am beginning to appreciate why this is not the family-friendly type movie that the first trailer suggested. It is somewhat a serious movie and poses the questions of "Should a man-made object like a robot be given the ability to think and feel like a human?" "Can artificial intelligence be used the wrong way?". Maybe this is one reason why Hugh was drawn to this project. Jo

I've seen sports stars sign camera lens after a victory...first time that I have seen a performer do the same thing. I wonder how often Hugh is asked to do this in a media junket

I have been thinking about CHAPPIE ( I am seeing it on March 5 or so) and the development that movie received an "R" rating. It seems it is not the family-friendly ( aka kid-friendly) film that the first trailer seemed to suggest. When it was eventually rated with an "R" ( supposedly for violence, language and brief nudity) I did not think that was all there was to it. I read up a little on Neil Blomkamp and had also wondered what attracted Hugh to this project. It seems that Blomkamp's two previous movies (District 9 and Elysium) made their mark because he is also keen to send out a message ( even if his films get rated R). In religious terms, I was thinking could this be an allegory of Lucifer and how he wanted to be like God? Was Vincent Moore perhaps so persuaded that he needed to banish a man's creation who wanted to be like man? Lol - I wasn't overthinking it -- but those thoughts crossed my mind Blomkamp shared his thouhts, thus -- Then I came across this online article on ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE from the OP-ED page of The New York Times (I love the internet for giving me this kind of accessibility) -- opinionator.blogs.nytimes.com/2015/02/23/outing-a-i-beyond-the-turing-test/It is a serious article ( and almost boring because of its length) but it does pose a serious and fascinating question, by looking at the possible threat of AI from a completely different angle. Will AI make machines who will not necessarily want to banish humans, but machines who may think that humans have become irrelevant? And... I thought it was pretty interesting because there was also some mention of theories profounded by physicist Stephen Hawking ( the person portrayed by Eddie Redmayne in Theory of Everything) and also of the movie The Imitation Game, albeit for a slightly different treatment of the theme. LOL - when I finally see CHAPPIE, it might turn out to be simply a very intersting storytelling of the "What If?" Jo

It looks like the European promo tour is not limited to the UK and Berlin. There is some buzz that he might also be going to Paris and Moscow?
So, is he trying to fit in some filming for EDDIE THE EAGLE while also doing some continuing promo for CHAPPIE?

Eurostar -- London to Paris/Marseille or to Oestende ( Holland) and Return. I am not familiar with any new routes, unless the old Eurail has now been merged with the Eurostar. I wonder where he was headed or coming back to?
I have done the Eurostar twice, not first class of course ( as shown with Hugh) but it is such a comfortable, convenient, and fast way to travel. Only disconcerting part is when the train is passing through the English channel and your train is travelling under the sea in a huge tunnel.

Interview with Access Hollywood -- www.accesshollywood.com/hugh-jackman-on-playing-chappie-villain_video_2655437Mostly, about Chappie and Hugh's character Vincent. Towards the end, he is asked the inevitable question about Wolverine, preecisely Wolverine in the 80's ( timeline for APOCALYPSE) and he teases about his involvement and keeps us guessing ( although there seems to be a twinkle in his eyes Jo

Just a rather wild thought --
I have been wondering why the movie CHAPPIE has been getting a very strong overseas promotional campaign,, with Hugh Jackman leading the publicity, when it is only a medium-budget movie and is not expected to reach blockbuster heights.
But when I realized that it is a SONY Pictures release --
And tied it in to the new appointment of TOM ROTHMAN as new head of SONY Pictures ( he was already in the group and headed a SONY subsidiary Tristar) - was it just coincidence? Or did Tom Rothman see the possibility of a big hit, if the movie is promoted well? Hugh has also likely kept his ties with Tom Rothman ( who was involved in the launching of the XMEN franchise).
