Amanda Seyfried is heading to New York to play opposite Russell Crowe in Voltage Prods.’ drama “Fathers and Daughters,” directed by Gabriele Muccino...
“Fathers and Daughters,” a Black List script penned by Brad Desch, is a love story between a father and daughter living 25 years apart in New York City. Crowe will portray a famous novelist and widower struggling with mental illness as he tries to raise his 5-year-old daughter. Seyfried will portray the now-grown daughter in present-day Manhattan as she battles the aftermath of her troubled childhood...
Seyfried most recently starred in “Lovelace.” She will next be seen in Seth MacFarlane’s comedy “A Million Ways to Die in the West” alongside Liam Neeson and Charlize Theron.
Change of loyalties, huh - LOL!
Hugh (The Wolverine, Prisoners), Russell (Man of Steel, Noah, Winter-something) and Amanda ( Lovelace, A Million Ways...) have been pretty busy with their film careers after Les Miserables. I have not heard much about any new Anne Hathaway/Samantha Barks/Aaron Tveit film projects. Too bad that the future Freddie Mercury biopic for Tom Hooper and Sacha Baron Cohen did not materialize. Any word on any new Helena Bonham Carter films? There is word that Eddie Redmayne has been cast to portray a biopic of the famed physicist/cosmologist quadruplegic Stephen Hawking...and Daniel Huttlestone ( Gavroche) is playing the role of Jack in the movie version of Into The Woods.
