CONGRATULATIONS to Benj Pasek and Justin Paul for winning a TONY for Best Musical Score for DEAR EVAN HANSEN ( which also won the BEST MUSICAL award)!
Having now won an Oscar ( LaLaLand) and now a Tony ( DEH), their work for THE GREATEST SHOWMAN will be under greater pressure to be a winner!

Enigmatic! What could it be www.imgrum.org/media/1537647799864076784_1170622922This is intriguing! Is the marketing campaign starting? Are they using a more pop group to release a version of song(s) from THE GREATEST SHOWMAN, but with a contemporary appeal? There is mention of the famous ABBEY ROAD STUDIOS in LONDON -- why record there instead of in the USA? Again, this is all intriguing! Jo

Ohhhhhhh!!!!!!! This is the secret project -- What a different and unexpected way to promote the movie! FOX Marketing must have something up their sleeves - almost like how surprised we were with the initial marketing foray for LOGAN! Color me excited Jo

*A song and music video -- hey, that could even go to unexpected popularity levels with the desired demos ( not for most of us - LOL!). What an intriguing approach to introduce the movie! *"20 influencing people from over the whole world" - is this coming from the recent TIME list of 100 most influential? Or are the pop artists drawn from different countries and cultures? Again, what a way to introduce the movie to a world-wide market! *The ABBEY ROAD STUDIOS is identified with the most famous pop ensemble of all time -- John, Paul, George, and Ringo -- the Beatles! Maybe there is a message they want to project, by using such an iconic recording studio Jo

It's not just the reputation of these young performers. They are not shy using the internet and social media to show off what they are doing

Hey, I think I am getting the connection now!! These young pop stars are all showmen in their own right!! Who else but the current generation entertainers to introduce the musical biopic of the man who was supposed to have been instrumental in inventing SHOW BUSINESS! Phineas Taylor Barnum! It doesn't matter what the age is -- they are all providing entertainment to other people, whether as performers or harnessing other people's talent, like P.T.Barnum! And if I may say so myself ( being a biased Jackman fan)-- Hugh Jackman is considered a Master Showman himself Jo

Is that Keala (Settle) ?? Then...maybe they will be singing THIS IS ME! The choice would actually be an excellent song for those who are different, who are on the periphery of society, who are the "excluded" in this world! If it is the one -- that would be a good call because "inclusivity" is a hot societal issue. It could also work for young people because they also suffer from feelings of being excluded ( teenage angst) or shunned ( like the mutants ). If Keala is in there -- she could become the poster girl for the movie on a certain level! This could be very interesting, if my guess is right Jo

Definitely Keala! She could be part of it or advising them on the song? Hey, do you recognize that famous pedestrian walk when John, Paul, George and Ringo were crossing it for their album cover Abbey Road! Jo

Preview at EMPIRE --
So it was Michael Gracey who found Pasek and Paul as the songwriting team for the movie in 2013!

Hey, I thought Hugh Jackman was/is Vogue Editor Anna Wintour's favorite She has put ZENDAYA on the cover of the July issue of Vogue! www.vogue.com/article/zendaya-interview-july-vogue-cover-spider-man-homecoming?mbid=zrShe did have a stunt double, but maybe only for the scenes which the insurance man would not allow for her to do. I have a feeling that Anna Wintour will have a huge feature on THE GREATEST SHOWMAN, maybe even for the December issue of VOGUE! Jo

I would love to see Hugh do a cameo in this song and music video Wouldn't he have known about the London project because he is a major producer of the movie? Jo

Jo Jazzed up to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the release of Sgt. Pepper album: As you can see in the photo of the girl walking across Abbey Road, they really did decorate the gates outside with the album cover. Nancy
