A sad, senseless death caused by speeding! He wasn't driving, I saw a picture of the car which was totally demolished. The saddest thing is he leaves a young 15 yr old daughter and he was a big philanthropist. He was, in fact, coming from an event his foundation put on to raise money for the Philippines. Very sad. I never knew Paul Walker as I had not seen any of the Fast and Furious movies.
But today as I was watching a local TV chat show, I learned how he had become one of the cast members who came over to publicize the movie and stole the hearts of the local audiences. He seemed to have reciprocated the feeling of mutual friendship and had actively worked on fundraising events to help our typhoon-stricken fellow countrymen. His loss is felt here as much as there!
RIP, Mr. Walker!

What an awful way to go, too. To have to be ID'd by dental records--I can't imagine any worse scenario for his family. I hope his daughter is able to adjust over time.
