A new play about Houdini's attempts to exposure fraudulent mediums (sound familiar?) is beginning performances this week in NYC. George Demas doesn't look much like Houdini, but then again, erstwhile other-HOUDINI star Hugh resembles the legendary magician even less.

There is also a new Houdini TV show (mini series) with Adrien Brody as Houdini.
