Russell shows off to two of his good mates, Hugh and Ron, the first look at his first directorial effort --
I have watched this short documentary on the making of the movie ( another look at the tragic Gallipoli battles - a subject that is held high among Australians and New Zealanders) --
*This could be a big dramatic war movie, with emphasis on the drama behind or after the war trenches lay silent.
*Russell acts as both director and lead ( although the story focuses on a father's search for his three missing sons at Gallipoli)
*Could this become one of the Oscar candidates when released -- good luck to Russell Crowe!
