More Hugh is always welcome. Speaking of which, think we'll get an extended scene as he wakes up in 1973? One can only hope. Ellen

This site reports that the EXTENDED EDITION will not be released until 2015, that the theatrical version is what will be released in October. www.cinemablend.com/new/X-Men-Days-Future-Past-Extended-Edition-Won-t-Released-Until-2015-66621.htmlBut how many will know that there is going to be an extended edition for release next year? For those who might want to give the DVD/BluRay as a Christmas gift ( that is probably also one of the major reasons why they will release the theatrical version in a few months time) the theatrical version will likely suffice. Astute marketing by FOX, as the BluRay/DVD market is still fairly huge for superhero movies. I wonder if Bryan Singer is planning other stuff for the later edition other than restoring the cuts? Maybe bloopers? Maybe more word on the forthcoming APOCALYPSE? Jo

Maybe bloopers? Maybe more word on the forthcoming APOCALYPSE? Jo When the pre-order announcement came a week or two ago, I went over to Amazon to do my pre-order but was very disappointed at what was available. The BluRay description was nothing like what Bryan had been describing. They weren't even offering a BluRay/DVD combo, which is what I usually get. My son said he's waiting too and we'll see when it comes out if maybe Target has more of what we were expecting. Target usually has something special & different from other stores & Amazon. If it's true that the extended version with the deleted scenes won't be out till '15 that's a real kick in the teeth for fans. I'm not going to buy the lesser version. I think fans should know that they're getting ripped off. The damn movie studios...all they care about these days is making more & more money. Yes it's a business, but the customers/fans used to be more important than it seems like we are now. As you can see I'm not happy about this! Sue

Good things come to those who wait. Count me among the patient ones. Ellen My son & I were just talking about it this morning and we're both going to wait for the extended addition...money grubbing movie companies be damned! He was telling me about a couple of other movies that happened to and we agree that fans/customers have to stop buying the plain, nothing extra first releases of BluRay/DVDs. Now that we know what to look for, I think that if we read the fine print we can spot the scams ahead of time. Sue
