Good for Hugh for wearing that wide-brimmed Fedora. It brought back very pleasant recollections of Paperback Hero. In that closeup when he's leaving the Palace, I almost expected to see a much younger Hugh under that wide brim.  Alma |

In One Day More -- he is singing Javert's lines! Hmm...did they have enough strong voices for that iconic Les Mis song? He probably sang Valjean and Javert's lines? His guest Bora probably sang the Enjolras and Marius lines? The ladies sang Eponine and Cosette? Who sang the Thenardiers I am more convinced now that he should have sung Jean Valjean and not Inspecteur Javert. Jo |

It looks like there were many celebrities who attended the concert(s). Hard to decipher what some of the translations mean But this one is quite clear -- (Sertab Erener is a popular pop music female singer in Turkey with a cross-over soprano range. She also won the Eurovision concert for Turkey during the year when she competed) |

ONE DAY MORE....MORE...MORE!! I have already watched it 3 x and have downloaded it...sigh! I am tempted to post it on the Les Miserables IMDB page for the benefit of musical theatre purists who have dissed Hugh's singing in the film adaptation. Here he sings both Valjean and Javert -- in full and glorious voice! So the dreamgirls sing not only Eponine and Cosette but also the Thenardiers Jo |
