Posted on another site (Jackman's Landing) -- copy of the ticket board info from CIRCLE IN THE SQUARE. There is indication that they may be revising prices for future sales.Rear Orchestra will have a broader range -- from $125 to $175 Premium will have a higher range ( presumably for the Friday/Saturday night, as customary for other hit shows?) -- from $ 250 to $ 275

I'll be looking forward to reading everyone's reports and reviews. I'm really disappointed that I'll have to miss The River. My husband is having surgery, and even though we finally got an actual date, he's on a cancellation list, which means he might be going in sooner. Planning for anything is pretty much impossible. Anyway, it is what it is! I'll just have to experience the play vicariously by reading everyone's account. Enjoy the play! Carol

I wonder which seats will be available for the two types of RUSH tickets? Although given the configuration and size of Circle in the Square, it wouldn't matter too much re getting good sightlines.

Is there a mention somewhere of WHEN people started lining up for rush tickets? (Sorry if I missed it.)

There was a fairly large contingent who actually camped out OVERNIGHT by the box office! Yikes.

And for anybody else over 25. Well, that applied to the advance rush--the so-called "access" seats. What will happen with day-of rush seats is still unknown. So, in the immortal words of Molly Picon in MILK AND HONEY, "Chin up, ladies." Ellen

Julie, I believe Telecharge might buy them back from you. If no takers here, can't hurt to try.

It looks like the ACCESS/RUSH ticket policy is very succeseful ( no other show is giving pre-announced WEEK-OF and DAY_OF tickets for only $ 35). It has spawned a separate thread on BWW -- www.broadwayworld.com/board/readmessage.php?thread=1078113&dt=3On top of availability, some of the lucky RUSH ticket holders were seated at the Riverbank! Maybe the producers actually allocated some of the riverbank seats to these ticketholders. I wonder, Hugh must have had a hand towards such a generous policy to theatregoers! Jo

I waited at the box office on Monday, November 10th from 8:30 -10:00 and bought 2 $35 access tickets. Went to today's matinee performance and was shocked to find my tickets were for Riverbank seating! I sat right next to the desk at the far end of the stage and Hugh sat there several times during the play. He was so close, I could have touched him. It was amazing! Best Broadway deal in town!

Yes, it seems that they have permanently allocated some riverbank seats to RUSH ticketholders! The BWW posters also posted about their good luck with RUSH.
Hugh has been preaching about democratizing access to the theatre and producer Sonia Friedman is known to support new work in subsidized theatres in the UK as well -- so they must have agreed on thisremarkable pricing policy together!
Even the Riverbank seating at $ 95 is a great deal -- in the past, to be able to see Hugh perform on the front or close to front row - one had to shell out a lot. But not for this one. Much appreciated by everyone!
