Kristin Chenoweth, a good friend of Hugh, sings Bring Him Home at a recent DC concert -- www.youtube.com/watch?v=z8_CZQEHAHINot too sure that it fits a woman singing the song ( the lyrics were meant for Valjean) - but she gives us a soprano version of the song. Hugh and Cheno have sang a duet at the Fine Romance Concert ( Anything You Can Do...) and have done a reading of On the 20th Century ( the revival, it seems, is being considered with Cheno, but without Hugh who is more committed now to HOUDINI). I would like to see them do a duet at some future event! I am hoping that this will help popularize the movie ( and the song) even more! Jo

A famous duet fondly remembered from the landmark Broadway musical, Oklahoma! www.youtube.com/watch?v=kRElVutZ70ABarbara Cook ( who sang the role of Ado Annie in a revival of the show) sings it with Michael Ball, at the Royal Variety Show in 1997 ( I think this was on the occasion of the golden wedding anniversary of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip). I first heard the duet with Gordon and Shirley in the movie musical version. Then I was lucky to have heard it sung live by Hugh and Josefina in London in 1999. In this version, my favorite singer, Michael Ball, sings the duet with another " Oz-a-lot", Barbara Cook And the version we love to watch and rewatch ( I must have seen this one to the nth time) -- www.youtube.com/watch?v=fS0NPYH_pGwAnd the first one I ever saw -- www.youtube.com/watch?v=VEwVAV3VPw4Jo

Not a video, but definitely "musicals" related... A friend just sent me a link to an online radio station. There are scads of possibilities for any taste - and dozens of Broadway channels. You can select by style, decade, composer, etc. I'm just starting to listen, but what I've heard so far is wonderful. I hope you find this useful. Enjoy! new.accuradio.com/#!/home/broadway/
