Had Taylor gotten the Eponine part, for which she auditioned, they would have worked together in Les Miserables.
Although the only scenes would be at the square when Valjean was accosted by the Thenardiers, perhaps when Valjean briefly appeared when the lovers first meet with Eponine in the background, at the barricade where Eponine was fatally shot, and in the finale where he was singing atop the elephant monument and she was at the barricade with the other rebels and singing joyfully for the cause they died for.
There was also the rumored scene that was edited out ( but tweets from the set indicated it was actually filmed) where Eponine appeared in Valjean's death scene ( as it was originally performed on stage).
But Hugh and Samantha seemed to have been in many rehearsals together, and Samantha was always talking excitedly about her co-star.

New York Daily News reports on the special auction --
He will top the $ 1 million mark when he winds up his fundraising ( 6 weeks) this coming weekend!

It was wonderful to help Broadway Cares, and I never thoought that burgundy shirt was going to be the Channukah present of a lifetime. What a beautiful person inside and out. But we all know that.

Hugh guessed it right - it would make a great Christmas present, except he thought it would make a delightful addition to a kid's stocking surprises

It is even more remarkable when you consider that the audience at CITS are half the size of the Imperial and considerably less compared to the Schoenfeld and the Broadhurst.
So, his combined contribution to BC/EFA since TBFO is now approximately $ 5.5 million !

The TONY Awards does give a Humanitarian award, doesn't it? While it is true that his special second TONY includes both his ability as a performer and his initiatives as a humanitarian, recognizing his singular and remarkable contribution for the Broadway community has been unequaled. Hope it can be acknowledged now or in the near future -- it is not just the amount but the effort and the graciousness that go with his solicitations for charity has been remarkable and consistent!

The BC/EFA campaigns are officially no longer than 6 weeks. I doubt that Hugh would want to be an exception.
