"Enjoy the next couple of months" -- July and August? Hugh is committed to go to the ComicCon on July 11, so maybe that would only be flying to the USA West Coast for that commitment ( and maybe handle a few things in Hollywood). Could also be that Hugh may be doing some producer duties for WOLVERINE 3 and GREATEST SHOWMAN ON EARTH, which could be under negotiations for possible filming in Australia ( Fox has large facilities and access to a large pool of creative talent in Sydney/Australia)? Or even some pre-production duties? Collateral Beauty is not due to film till the fall, most likely in NYC itself ( they can't film elsewhere ). There is a reason why some of that film's scenes will likely be filmed after Thanksgiving Thanks for the clip Jo

Most likely last scheduled event before return to NYC for school and Collateral Beauty filming?
The 23rd Anniversary Red Ball gala will be held on Saturday 5 September at the luxurious Grand Hyatt Melbourne, with special guests and Fight Cancer Foundation Patrons Deborra-lee Furness & Hugh Jackman attending. Hailed as one of Melbourne’s signature charity events, the iconic Red Ball will amaze guests with an outstanding larger-than-life experience, raising funds for Fight Cancer Foundation’s vital initiatives and programs. This years’ theatrical Red Ball will be hosted by Australian TV icon, Kerri-Anne Kennerley, with celebrations and entertainment galore and a theme based on the set of a classic black-and-white 1950’s TV show, where guests will be taken back in time to the golden era of TV. The stars will be out to shine on the evening, with dedicated humanitarians Deborra-lee Furness and Hugh Jackman continuing their unrelenting support of Fight Cancer Foundation’s mission to provide care, treatment and support for cancer patients and their families and fund vital cancer research. “We are thrilled to be attending another Red Ball with the beautiful Fight Cancer Foundation family” said Deborra-lee and Hugh. “The work they do with and for families who are doing it tough is nothing short of incredible and it’s always such a fun event full of generous, uplifting energy!” they said. The successful sell-out event will see guests enjoy sumptuous food and wines from the Grand Hyatt’s award winning banquet menu and marvel at some amazing big-ticket raffle and auction items including a Turtle Island holiday, spectacular artworks and a special voicemail recording by Hugh Jackman.

Will he turn up again for this year's event. He is likely going to be in NYC on September 26, as he would be filming Collateral Beauty in the city then.

Los Angeles Times's review of DUKALE'S DREAM -- www.latimes.com/entertainment/movies/la-et-mn-dukales-dream-review-20150731-story.htmlThe first version of the documentary first came out as SEEDS OF HOPE. If I recall right, there was no intention then than simply to document Hugh and Deborra Lee's journey to Ethiopia about a local initiative that World Vision had embarked on re its Global Poverty Project. I remember that the president of World Vision accompanied them in that trip. That version of the documentary was actually released online and gave us an insight on what happened in that trip. Perhaps because the story is engaging, an updated version to include a filmmaker's perspective was initiated and resulted in it being shown first at a film festival...and now released in theatres and online sources? That it has become a source of pride and a way to create more awareness for WORLD VISION's GLOBAL POVERTY PROJECT and for the related opening of a fair-trade coffee shop named after Dukale's profile ( LAUGHING MAN). Nothing wrong about a more focused effort to bring attention to a socially-relevant cause! I don't think it was ever meant to primarily laud Hugh's efforts. The primary goal was still to create awareness of people like Dukale and how in some way the world can support fair trade and the efforts of small farmers in the hinterlands. Dukale turned out to be an engaging personality and it is his story that is the center of this narrative. Hugh simply used his profile to create awareness of this advocacy! Hugh is not using this documentary to win an Oscar or a Nobel Prize Jo

Check out Amazon readers's comments on the documentary - they got the message, its altruism and how it impacts on us! Not at all what the Los Angeles Times reviewer came across with in his conclusions!
10 reviews so far - all 5 stars !
